Geelong have been to the top in 07, oh so close in 08, back again 09, prelim last year, and are undefeated in 2011.

Mentions a couple of other sides also. Collingwood were beaten in 2 of those GFs, yet haven't fallen to the depths that Brisbane have.

So Geelong underachieved by making the 1994 Grand Final? Or because they couldn't beat the teams they faced during the Blight/Ayres era, or four days over about seven years? Unlike the Crows we didn't get the luxury of playing St Kilda with no ruckmen. Geelong have been consistently good (or at least not bottom four) thus denying us of draft picks and apparently this year we were supposed to miss the top four. Underachieving again?

The Crows are only pretending to be what Geelong is, a football club and not some state team knock off. I'd suggest with your resources that Adelaide has underachived a lot more than what Geelong has.

I still can't see how this thread is about Collingwood, and not about Geelong, who have dominated the recent AFL history, and are the only undefeated team in 2011.

the only team to dominate the AFL is Brisbane. 3 premierships in a row. Not sure about collingwood and geelong winning 1 in a row

They are a very good side (make that awesome) who happen to be the Reigning Premiers from 2010.
However last time I looked a team called Geelong is sitting on the top at the moment.

And they have to leave Victoria occasionally.
