Curious, i was watching the southern flinders game today. How does a dual premiership midfielder from port pirie, become a back pocket for southern flinders. Andrew Fleming of what i have seen is as tough a footballer as you will find. He is also a natural goal kicker when resting up forward. I know a lot of other clubs that would kill to have a player of his calibre running thru there midfield?

Jamestown, BMW & Sth Flinders leaving BMW only undefeated after 2.
But would have got 0/3 1st round.....[/quote]

Thats 1 from 6 now for my tips, either a good comp or a rubbish tipper!

Probably both..............................

Was a bit worried when my ute broke down out the front of the Southern Flinders game on the weekend,
turned out to be a blessing in disguise, got to watch the SF boys turn it on in a big way.
There was an excellent supporter base and the chant of 'WOODARDS, WOODARDS' resounded around the ground after SF won.
Sure, it was coming from only one lean, dark-haired lad from the the SF team, but boy it was chanted with some gusto.
SF are shortening by the minute for the flag, and I will bet my almost functional ute that they get there.

Also heard that Simon Treloar has signed for southern flinders from the green and white squids in port pirie!! He played in that trial game against Balak very lazy player but good around the goals.........

simon was a good player a couple of years ago when other teams didn't know who he was, he hasn't played a good game in 2 years. All what teams need to do is make someone play close to him and he doesn't like it, he will crack the shits and will not get a kick all game. He has all the talent in the world but will never go and earn his own kick, there were games last year when he was playing for squids he actually didn't get any touches.

I see he's been playing, how is he going?

According to the Argus Treloar didn't make the best 5. Didn't get a mention in the match report

I pedalled for an hour and a half to get my internet working tonight,
and then, after 2 more hours of waiting got onto sporting pulse to check results...
Nothing.....How will I get my Brett Woodards fix with this neanderthal internet I have?
P.S: Can anyone tell me if my ute is still out the front of the Southern Flinders Oval?

News just in Stewie, you can now indulge in your Woodards mania.
Despite his best efforts, Woodards was unable to single handedly get Southern Flinders across the line yesterday.
Can we assume Woodards will lead NAFL into the upcoming Landmark Cup?
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

How's Hicksy going at Southern Flinders? I saw him named in the best in the first 2 games. Is he playing up to the hype a few posters were giving him before the season started?

How are Southern Flinders travelling in general, have lost a few I see 1/3, is it just a slow start or will they not be able to cover their losses? Any thoughts?
How well are the Brookies going, dont seem to have any/many imports but seem to be going well!!
Might be worth a trip on sat to see.

The unavailability of Woodards on Saturday was obviously the difference again.
No Woodards, no Southern Flinders...

Got myself a copy of the Crystal Brook 125 year book. The book is a must read for any country footy fan. I'm not involved with the Crystal Brook footy club but the book gives a great insight to history the Brook. Congratulations must go to the author's of the book.

The big thing that came out of Crystal Brook's 125 year extravaganza event the other week was the $22000.00 they got from auctioning the 25 vintage guernseys they had made for the day.

After reading the Crystal Brook 125 year book it was interesting to read about the clubs that have merged or folded over the years in the Northern Areas Football Association. Can anyone tell me what happened to Wanertown in 1995?

I think you will find the demise of the Warnertown Wombats was an assoication ruling where they were ejected from the league due to on field issues where they made up the majority of the leagues tribunal appearances, also they had no colts teams and only a few netball teams.
