Good win the the a's bs and cs on Saturday. Thought both a's and bs were played in fantastic spirit. Disappointed number 2 didn't buy a raffle ticket in the last qtr while sitting at ff. He did have a laugh though. A few b grade fellas did say the gg were abit to nice out on the field. Gg will get better as the year goes on and I wouldn't think they would be relegated if they get the 9 players they were missing back in the team

Was this in teh A's or B's mate ?? If it was the B's then he has an excuse..... he broke a finger in the 2nd quarter and played the game out so probably couldn't write his phone number down !!

Yes the B's were 'too nice'..........

In the a's mate..

Satchel and Hollywood, will you do all readers of this forum a favor and pipe down and talk some footy. Its leaving a stain on both your clubs and im sure im not alone in saying that it is getting seriously irritating reading the diahorrea you have both been posting to each other. Take your issues elsewhere and start talking footy.
End rant.

That's why I did change and spoke about the game on the weekend. As I said gg when full strength will be a pretty good side. They did beat flinders park in round 2 so if taken lightly will cause quite a few headaches.

With the top 5 the way it is does anyone think a team from outside the top5 sneak in and replace someone.
With Smosh, Mitcham and Portland 3 sides that were expected to play in September and flinders park coming down, are seaton vulnerable in fifth. Could Para Hills make a charge????

Finally.

I think Seaton is more at risk than the the other four. Para Hills will make the charge but i have not seen Pembroke yet. They havent taken advantage of the drop as much as Flinders have.

From what i have heard with Pembroke they are in real big trouble. Hawkie Ranger would be able to expand our knowledge about them more but it seems injuries are creeping in and not having much Depth in the B's isn't helping.

Think you're right that the top 4 will consists of SMOSH, Mitcham, Portland and Flinders Park (in no particular order). The 5th is up for grabs between Para Hills, Pooraka and Seaton - from what I've seen, I'd say Seaton will get it. But with injuries, if you don't have good depth, that could change.

Obviously Pembroke are struggling - believe their entire A grade midfield from last year is gone, and one of the handy ones left tore his hammy off the bone last week. Apparentely their C grade forfeited on Saturday - 35 unavailable - makes it difficult for the whole club.

From what ive heard they are a large (tall) side. Was speaking to an FP bloke last week and they seemed to be the bogy side for FP. Yet after the weekend they get smacked like a kid that just pi$$ed his pants in the shop. Funny thing a drop to a lower div plus injuries can do to a club. That almost sounds familiar actually ;)

35 in one week. That is unbelievable. What was on a college formal or something? Is it just a one week thing or something bigger?

I'm glad you said "nearly everyone". I'd have Hodges in my team before Burton.

Harshest tag i've seen in amateur footy, yet still got 2nd best!

We controlled the game for its entirety, which was lucky, because our coach has enough grey hairs sprouting already.

Also, as someone who knows how to tear a hamstring, i don't think tis something to be made fun off. Marshall is still one of (if not the best) Seatons best players, and going off would have had a huge impact on the games result. Sounds liek a good game of footy though, as was expected!

i must watch a different game each week.

How so Flipper? The sole aim of No.6 was to stop our wingman Correct? Did not touch the footy for the entire game, yet Our wingman kicked two goals and set up a few others. Was clearly bog in the first half (where we won the game IMO), and still good in the 2nd half?

Will they make the call earlier than what they did to FP if they are unable to fill a side? From the reports they made the call 10 minuetrs before the first bounce. Do they have a D grade?

The guy that was injured (Chau) has been one of our most consistent players all year, and disclocated his ankle and broke/shattered his fibula. Gone for the year :(

Pooraka played their ground very well and full credit to you guys. ran all day and wanted the ball more.
Our boys thought they'd play 2 quarters of footy while we had the assistance of the wind, and then pull up shop when Pooraka had the wind. Pretty disappointing to up by 4 goals at 1/4 time, not turn up in the second and be down by 5 goals at haftime claw back to within 10 pts at 3/4 time and then let Pooraka kick 8-9 goals in the last quarter to blow the game away.
Look forward to bouncing back this week and regaining some respect.. But if we dish the same stuff up against Smosh, it could turn very sour as they are a very very good side.
Look forward to seeing a few other guys stand up, same familiar faces trying their guts out week in week out
