Tiller lucky to still be in. Day won't be at FF I would think. FF position still far from settled.
3 big ins - Grocke, P Stewart and Petrenko adds running power. Geddes will miss if no one is under an injury cloud I feel.

Any chance of us just going in with Parry? It would mean Grocke/Tiller/Grieger would have to do some make shift rucking at some stage. What's the go with Redden this year?

Good for O'Sullivan to get his name into the squad. Unless there's an injury or late pull out I can't see him making the final team though. Barmby and Schiller I think have done enough to this point for another game. But the pressure for spots is building. Symes in is massive. Gives us size, running power and ball gathering ability around the midfield or half back. Looking at the ins and outs I think the dogs are strengthened but the eagles probably remain the same.

Dogs by 10 points. I was tipping a narrow loss before seeing the ins and outs, which I think will add 2 goals or so.

Spoke to a member of the coaching panel and he has definatly been dropped!

No surprise as i said a few weeks ago he never dominates games and drifts in and out big time. I like haved liked his work effort in the last couple of weeks and thought he played well on Saturday but 4 possesion is not going to keep your self in the side. Unfortunatly for him if his serious about his AFL career i think he may need to consider a move to another SANFL club.

Would love to see a forward line with Havelberg, Obst and Hynes with Hardy and Hayes taking the big men in defence.

For me if every one is fit Duncan is a certainty to go to the ressies. Would hate to think it would be Barmby who was close to BOG last week imho. Would also hate to see Dunne dropped who i think has been really valuable and has a lot to offer the side. Same applies for Schiller

It looks like a very strong side on paper!

Maybe "The Hummer" Hynes will make way for Haysey?

Don't think he was named in the reserves for Central though?

A fair few people tipping the Eagles and while it is true that we have a fairly even record against each other the dogs tend to win at Elizabeth and the Eagles at Woodville.

For some reason there is a big home ground advantage when these 2 sides play. For that reason I will tip the doggies (plus because I am biased). ;)

Really without having the stats in front of me i would think the Eagles have been the best performing opposition side at Elizabeth in the last 11 years.

I think there was a stretch in the early to mid 2000's where we kept winning at Woodville and they kept winning at Elizabeth including our 50th? anniversary game.

I thought we'd beat Westies, lose to the Bays and have a close one against Norwood. Based on this history, I'll tip the Eagles by 20points.

Here is the Dog's reserves side for tomorrow - No Matt Westhoff, despite it being said in the paper he was dropped, and also good to see Corey Reichert back from injury.

CENTRAL'S RESERVES:

Bottin-Noonan, Claughton, Cullen, Economou, Edmead, Flanigan, Grace, Habel, Hannath, Haydon, Hood, Marschall, Molyneux, Prior, Prowse, Reichert, Snowdon, Templeton, Vater, N.White, Wittwer

This is what it says in the Football Budget about recent encounters:

The Footy Budget wrote:
Recent @ Playford Alive Oval, Elizabeth
: Central have won last 7
: Eagles last win @ Playford Alive – Rd 3 (April 17 2004)

Not sure about the results at Elizabeth between the 2 sides prior to 2004 though?

x = Eagles won = -1

(2+0+0+0) + x + (2+0+0+4) + x + (2+0+1+1) + x = 9
