Yeah back to non-league tossers

That'll work   Its one player...

if the tests come back to be correct then they would have to lose there points or at least get a reduction of them. Using drugs in any sport is cheating and this is the way its dealt with.

look what happens with match fixing???/ using drugs is worse and the club should be responsible for their players heeding to these rules. The club should suffer. And if an Arsenal player was found to be using drugs i would accept the fact we or he cheated and we deserve what we get.

Yes I agree, but he has tested positive once after a game. If an AFL player has tested positive to drugs after a match then the entire team doesn't loose points, the individual is dealt with. I would expect a similar scenario in the EPL. Surely an entire team can't be penalised for the crime of just one player. More-over relegation from the EPL seems rediculous and irrational IMHO. Throw the book at the player!

As for suggesting that using drugs (we have no idea what substance, it could be a diuretic for all we know) is worse than match fixing....surely your kidding.

i think you will find its about equal honestly. If you think that match fixing is worse then so be it. I think players taking drugs to enhance their performance is worse.

Its a difficult one but only time will tell what will happen to him/them

and a few years back when Rio Ferd for Man Utd missed a drug test then took it after that the penalty was going to be a reduction of points for the team.

He was found positive after a routine drugs test. There is no suggestion that it was a performance enhancing drug and it could have been taken inadvertently. There are a lot of banned substances in innocent mixtures such as cold remedies etc.

Expect him to get some sort of ban, maybe up to 9 games but nothing else and no punishment for the club.

Paddy Kelly was found positive and got 9 games after it turned out he was taking a cold remedy. The club didn't receive any punishment.

He didn't actually play in the game immediately before the test.

General talk over here is that Mancini will get £300m to spend on transfers this summer now City are in the CL. Kaka, Iniesta, Cahill from Bolton, Baines from Everton are all rumoured to be on the shopping list. The Arabs have so much money they can afford to write off much of it to keep City on the right side of the new financial fair play regulations.

City can finish 3rd which would mean the Gunners would have to qualify for the CL group stages.
Can only see them get stronger next year once they have finished shopping

Only if they buy the right players.
They will go and waste money on guys like kaka that will be useless in EPL and meanwhile fergie will be off looking for bargains like hernandez who was the import of the year
