Apparently Koschitzke only got off for his bump because he hit his good shoulder, not the one curnow had just injured. If Koschitzke got reported and suspended for that, considering curnow had gone off and came back on, I would have thought every player would go off with an "injury" and come back on since they wouldn't be allowed to be touched. Joke!

What's the difference between bumping his good or bad shoulder? He still bumped an injured player. If Montagna was banned, then so should be Koschitzke.

A fine would have been more appropriate for MonTAGna. I think a suspension is over the top, but I'm not surprised with this pathetic Tribunal.

I haven't seen the Trengove tackle, but Im guessing it was just a hard tackle with an unfortunate and unintended consequence.

I understand the AFL wanting to protect the head, but they just seem so inconsistent with how they go about it .. Would have thought Tambling was pretty lucky to only get 1 for an intentional elbow to an opponents head.

DB, Crunow had come back on when Kosi bumped him. Montagna hit him as he was going to seek medical attention. Suspension for Montagna is suitable IMO. This doesnt mean the game is going 'soft' its a dog act to hit someone while they are down injured.

Trenggove had hold of Dangerfields arm and swing him from around the waiste and his head hit the ground. In that split second he waqs supposed to consider his duty of care to Dangerfield That is making the game 'soft'

the biggest issue i have with it is that Dangermouse actually puts his other hand out to protect himself! its not as if Jack had both his arms pinned and drove him into the ground.

also he lands on his side/shoulder not his head. yes his head gets a bit of a whiplash effect but geez its footy for crying out loud!

The worst decision I have seen made by the tribunal... FFS Dangerfield had an arm free, I thought it was a near perfect tackle, worthy of 3 weeks - F@#k off! Are we now going to teach youngster not to pin an arm because someone may get hurt. Still perplexed how a legal tackle can get more games than an intentional elbow to an unsuspecting players head... Do the tribunal still hear evidence from the 'victims'? Was the Crows medical staff evidence used? Why are they not speaking out about it and saying that there was nothing in it?

Bloody good to see all these AFL players get behind trengove on Twitter and the likes. I liked Mitch Robinson's little dig. Would love to see a sit down by the players this week or something of the sorts, to get the point across that **** happens on the footy field and that a perfect tackle can get someone injured. Stop being such wankers and let the game stay how it is. Yes, its unfortunate to see Dangerfield get injured, but it was a perfect tackle. Pin the arm, so he cant dispose of the ball, its what everyone is taught. Feel sorry for the fella

from what i read, they actually used the crows medical report against Jack!! sighting that because of the tackle dangermouse was concussed!

forgive me if i am wrong but i thought AFL/Australian rules football was a contact sport, yes the AFL has introduced rules to protect the head but trengrove didn't make contact with dangerfields head!
im ****** if i know but the rules committee, umpires and the tribunal are reeking havoc on our great game.
