it's either some 'smack' talk of do a Uni assignment. Easy decision I think.

Should be a tight contest and il be backing my side to get over the line with no upgrades. I need Swan to have a huge game as you needPendlebury to dominate. Il probably make two downgrades this week, hope to win this week and make two upgrades the following week. That's my Tuesday thoughts anyway.

I've got 2 forced changes this week with Grimes and Curnow. At this stage it will be sideways for Grimes and upgrade for Curnow I reckon. Should be a good one this week, will be doing everything I can not to drop 2 in a row!

As I posted elsewhere I had a shocker with Wallis, Atley, Thompson, Smith, Grimes and Knights all < 58 on my field. Also, I went aggressive and brought in Chapman thinking he would carve NM up and he only got 85. I watched some of the game and it looked like he was just coasting around having a bit of a rest in an easy game. Didn't he know many fantasy coaches traded him into their teams this week?!

The one consolation in the end was I don't have Curnow and many would have started him.

I took a risk taking Swan, Pendlebury and Shaw from the start so I knew round 7 would be tough. So I am feeling more confident from here on.

Im looking to downgrade curnow and walker, and hopefully use the cash to upgrade to a pendlebury after rd 13 for libba. I reckon il be keeping Swallow all year mainly for the reason their last bye is rd 9 so he will be a good bench cover for me every week once i get my settled side in. Thats the plan anyways.

Mr Football has 5 Blues in his side. No doubt an upgrade/downgrade on one or two of them this week.

The chardonnay socialists wish to apologise to their supporters and members for their insipid display last weekend.
as a young side, inconsistent displays are not welcomed but unfortunately performance levels will vary.
We will face some warranted harsh criticism and accept that the level of performance presented was not of the level we pride ourselves onand will continue to turn our list over until we find 22 players prepared to put in the hard yards and represent the club with pride, passion and prejudice. Injuries are not acceptable excuse or reason for lack of endeavour, and, we would never use them to partially justify a lacklustre performance (even if curnow, grimes et al had to be subbed within the first five minutes) just as we would never proffer other excuses as the cruel and ongoing taunting of players by a more powerful, older and berbally brutal opposition.
Rest assured, we will come out breathing fire in the next game or the following one. We also have complete faith in the coach to restore this club to previous position of respect throughout the league.

Darksiders SCE has made 5 trades, but only one of them has been used to bring in a premium (Enright).

REBCats have been busy, making seven trades (perhaps another couple this arvo?).

Hondominators YSCC has made 6 trades and brought in Chapman and Harvey recently.

5 trades and have brought in 2 premiums (J-Roo & Chappy). Just wondering whether to sit tight this week.

I'll have 2 more trades used by lockout tonight

My plan is for up to another 6 in the next 3 weeks after which time I will sit tight for a while with 10 or so left. I am not going to try getting the 100% fully upgraded team too early (or even at all) because with byes and stars getting rested later in the season those trades will have better uses I reckon.

I've made 7 trades with 2 premiums coming in - J-Roo and brought in Griffin this week.

Also took a punt on Tippett (forced in a way by Higgins) as I feel he has returned to form in the last few weeks. Early days on that move but scored nearly 100 points last week - not bad for a forward in a team flogged by 15 goals. Very interested to see how he does this week against GC.

I'm pretty happy to go the journey with my forward setup now, midfield not too bad either. Defence still needs some renno's, a few holes there. Will probably still trade fairly actively in the next 2 -3 rounds as I would like another premium or two in defence.

I'm surprised that people are bringing in premiums from teams that have a bye in the last 4 weeks of the season. I've been taking a strategy of avoiding trading in premiums from those teams to lessen the liability come finals.
