The Dogs will be sweating on the outcome of the tribunal for Alan Obst's availability for this game...

As mentioned in the Sturt v Central review thread, he (Obst) has been reported for forceful front on contact...

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a game, if not more, based on the fact the SANFL tribunal system now goes by the same points system as the AFL.

Happened in front of me......nothing in it.....bit of high contact, bloke gets a free kick......if he hadn't dropped a simple mark under very minor pressure due to a slightly derogotary remark from the crowd it would never have happened......

If the comment is relevant to two threads then what's the problem if its posted on both of them?

Shut up, no-one asked for your opinion ;)

Back to the topic at hand, is Adam Grocke a certain starter for the Eagles, he's really important to their line up and could be a key to the Eagles breaking their 7 year Elizabeth hoodoo.

I wish I lived back in Norwood :( I miss the unusual chaps that live on Osmond Terrace, down by the cop shop. The old cadgers ;) Beautiful race, The Norwoodians. Phil lives in Norwood. So does Peter Goers. Anyway, Central to win by 26 points.

Think we will struggle to beat them - we generally perform well out there but fall short ( 4 or 5 goals).

So, that being the case - tipping Centrals by 27 pts.

Obst will probably get a game. Whether or not they it gets reduced because of a clean record or early plea or whatever, the initial penalty will almost certainly be a game.

Whether there was nothing in it or not, the rules a very clear. He initiated contact over the shouler to a guy bending over trying to pick up the ball. If Obst was going for the ball, then I'd agree it wasn't a report.
