Round 7 - West v Glenelg @ Richmond - 7.40pm Fri 13/5/11

Postby GWW » Sun May 08, 2011 9:18 pm

Glenelg returned to the winner's list in round 6, however they are still struggling to play 4 quarters of football. This week they take on the Bloods at Richmond in a night game, which is quickly becoming one of the hardest tasks in SANFL football. West's form throughout the year has been quite a bit more superior to the Bays' and I'd expect them to win reasonably convincingly.

My tip: West by 35 points

On present form it is difficult to see Glenelg getting within 10 goals of the Bloods.

So where's the best place for a schnitty within cooee of Richmond Oval?

West will sorely miss Brad Fisher up forward

Will cornes be back with the power?
What will the crows do after their showing with their squad?

Could be an interesting week of selections

From Local Footy SA:
"Ex-Blue Brad Fischer straightened them up but came on after rolling an ankle and is tipped to spend a few weeks on the sidelines."

and then later ....

''Ben Fisher was the other casualty for West, having suffered from a nerve-related complaint, but the club is hopeful he'll be fit to play next week."

So not really sure which quote to go by :?

One is Brad Fisher 85WAGY, the other is Ben Fisher - 2 different players...

And to make matters even more confusing, the Bloods have another B.Fisher running around at the club, Brayden I think?
