Don't know where you thought I was talking of premierships or even a grand final there NM. Read below what I put on a few weeks ago and no mention of flags. Said that around a 3rd or 4th team. Have you lost the plot like Satchel.......................aka Marbles

Good first two games and not much he or the players could have done last match. PAC just blew them out of the water and did not have the cattle to stop them. Probably sit around 3rd or 4th in ability in the competition and that is about it really. Wont play in a Grand Final at the moment and the quality of player is just not good enough, especially with Clayton missing for a while as well. Old Iggies are a decent looking team on paper as well and only 50/50 at best this week with their recruits.

Sounds like there were some pretty good games on the weekend. Some upsets and some real nail voters. Anyone wanna start talking bout the games rather than everything else on this site. From what I have seen and heard my prediction for the ladder at the end of the year is.
St peters
rocs
PAC
payneham
uni
old iggies
pt districts
modbury
walkerville
athelstone

although I do reckon that any team can beat any team on their day. Also as we saw last year finals footybis a different ballgame altogether.

Good win for Old Ignatians, there would be a bit of worry in the Uni camp only 5 goals scored during the afternoon

WOWEE. There's a result I thought I would NEVER see, with Iggies beating a Uni 1s team. Just shows how things have changed for the Students (the best-performed club in Ammo history IMO)

In all my time, the odd times we've been in the same grade as Uni it was always playing against their two side and we occasionally beat them and usually lost. Their 1 side was the A1s, the 2 side was A3-A4 seniors, the 3 side was A1 reserve and the 4 side was the next side down.

To have our seniors be in the same grade as the one side for the Students was something that only became realistic in recent years and to actually win is really quite a landmark.

Great job Wolves, albeit the Students aren't what they were (because I suppose they are still mostly students).
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

So after 6 rounds rocs and spoc still dominating the league and clearly the two best teams so far. Have spoc recruited or are have they improved alot and are they being coached better? Surprised that Uni haven't set the league on fire yet, what's going on with the blacks at the moment? Have they got a few injuries??
