"is now the same requirement to ATTRACT points from said leagues allocation if that is all you play."

Where is the above, stated in the APPS document?

If he played 4 Reserves and 1 League, would he have been qualified for finals at either level?

This is the 1 area I have the 1% reservation, because different leagues play a different amount of games per year, the number can vary from league to league! I was using the GSFL number as an example because of this thread, & because its a common number across the state, but not an exclusive one!

Yes is the answer - cos his last game was League he would have to play league finals (norwood didnt make it) unless both grades were still involved.

Played juniors for Modbury so I reckon he should be 2 points still.

He is a line coach at Norwood this year so is in the same boat as Mcgregor and Massie.

That could be the case of course but given your last mail I wont be taking that as gospel. I would assume his dad is a Borlace and there are none listed as life members on their website either.

Round 4:

Bays v Creek. Bays did well against Yank without the ex Crows (SANFL on sat this week too), but I think Creek to bounce back after the loss to Strath.
Compass v McLaren. McLaren look good on paper but havent been competitive against Yank or Will, So I reckon Compass.
Pongy v Victor. Results to date indicate a close game. Hopefully Victor's season will start to turn this week.
Strath v Willunga. Strath at home based on form so far.
Yank v Goolwa. Yank too strong at home.

D. Deductions and Concessions – General

If a player has not played football at any level for 24 months or more before resuming as a player he will automatically have a Player Points Rating of zero (0).

From http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page ... sID=163944

It still seems he should be 2 points as he has only missed 1 season. Then again Yank have been very good at finding the little cracks (ie Warmington, Durdin and Perry all playing as zero pointers) so maybe not.

Heard last night from a very reliable source that yank last week were over there points allocation. Will be interesting to see if they lose the points vs enc bay for last week or get a nice fine $$$. This is without ormand allen playing so it is very unlikely that lohde and others will be back as no points are available for yank.

Interesting kitm. If they were over last week, good chance they were in the loss to Strath too. Ormond-Allen is a zero pointer though.

If that is tthe case
is said player available tomorrow ????? I am persuming that the league would not have had the time to investigate " player de-registration, suspension and/or a fine " as you have written

I just heard that he is just going to play enough to qualify for finals - knee is stuffed. People close to him were surprised to hear he had played at all. Is (well was) supposed to play this week though.

Surely they'd have to lose the premiership points. You can't have a system in place and allow a club to keep premiership points if they breach it.

It's a non negotiable.. if a club's found to have exceeded their points and they win the match they will be stripped of the premiership points.
