With Gowans, Boyd, Dutschke and Sibenaler definatly out and probably only Nash a chance of coming back from injury Laird will have to bring at least 3 blokes up from the ressies.
The isssue will be is that probably the next 3 best performing players in the ressies (Hynes, Hannath, Templeton) are all talls and would really throw the balance of the side off.
For me
OUTS
J.Gowans
Boyd
Dutschke
Sibenaler
INS
Nash
Hynes
Duncan
Cullen or Wittwer
With the Crows injuries and suspensions Jack Gunston may also get a call up to the AFL.
Pretty sure Alan Obst will be available for selection this week as well wufc, recovered now from the broken jaw.

Obst would come straight into the league side I'd suspect, he might not have played since the trial games but he has been training pretty full on so having a run in the 2's probably isn't needed.
Also, I'd suspect the likes of Charlie Molyneux and Caleb Edmead to be at least discussed at selection I think.

I'm tipping, Obst, Hynes, Duncan and Edmead. The unlucky one to miss being Jack Hannath. Milne stays based on his effort and five changes might be too much. Even though some ruck infringements are hard to work out, Milne has to lessen these.

I think that would possibly be two big men to much and would restrict Lairdys midfield rotations incredibly. We have lost 2 out and out midfielder he will at least have to bring in 2 midfielders i would think.
We would then have 8 talls
Havelberg
Sutherland
Milne
Obst
M.Westoff
Hynes
Hardy
Duncan

Don't think I'd classify Ash Duncan as a tall, he plays the 2nd or 3rd small forward, running half back or midfielder role in the ressies so he could be added to the midfield rotation for sure.
I agree with what you are saying in general though about being too top heavy. I really think Charlie Molyneux might get a real look in to make his league debut this week.
I'd have the Dogs changes as follows, if I were coaching:
INS: A.Obst, D.Hynes, A.Duncan, C.Molyneux
OUT: J.Boyd, S.Dutschke, J.Gowans, Y.Sibenaler (all injured)

Ahh yes a good old re-hash.![]()
I couldn't get to Unley last week nor was around Adelaide over the weekend so don't really know what Unley was like for the North game or how much rain fell. Maybe with some midweek rain it may get worse but it's hardly been played on and it's not like we've had a wet Autumn.
Are doggie supporters already looking for excuses?
