No problem, we'll ride it out.

Spot on mate. Calling us "irrelevant" is disrespectful and downright narrow minded.

Are the Bulldogs, Fremantle, St.Kilda, Melbourne and Richmond irrelevant? None have won an "AFL" Premiership, all have had massive off field issues ( some in debt up to $8M ) and have all won wooden spoons in recent years. Port have won a flag, have not one a spoon ( yet ) and have made big inroads into off field debt reduction ( yes, with the SANFL's help ).
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Erm, yes.

Footy sold its soul when it chose to make its national league 'invitation only'.

For an extra $10 you get to wear a Power guernsey, run out onto the field, stand around looking disinterested for a while and then walk off dejectedly in a hail of abuse and saliva.

A very limited number, twenty two, of this special deal is available though.

Not sure if this is entirely the right thread but the SACA vote went through, so looks like football will be moving to Adelaide Oval.

No, they've thought of that already ... every 2nd section of the new stands will fold neatly away.

It's good that it's gone ahead, there was only 2 options IMO, re vamp AO from the disjointed muddle it has become or put some money into FP. A purpose built new stadium isn't an option as there is no money for it, it'd cost double what is being put into AO.
Now that AO is going ahead, how many years will it be until Port supporters complain that they don't feel comfortable there because it's "too much like a cricket ground, not a football ground. It's too SACA-centric"
'PAFC don't want any advantages in the SANFL. It would only take away from any achievements we earned.'
