It would be a most unusual way to dislocate a shoulder by hitting the top of the joint. It's normally contact along the top of the arm or underneath that leads to a dislocation.

I do find it funny how supporters assume injuries mean free kicks missed though. Like the age old "how did he get that, ump?" call when there's a cut eye. I guess if you've only been watching footy for 5 minutes you might not realise there's a lot of contact above the shoulder that ISN'T a free kick or report.

On another note, has Mickan sent the traditional apology email out to members yet? No doubt it'll come as per usual.

Yes you can sjt...

Order it from the SANFL - they film the games not shown by the ABC and dubb the commentary from the radio stations call (5RPH yesterday) over the footage.

If you've got a spare $28, set up a Pay-Pal account and click here: http://www.sanfl.com.au/store/2011_sanfl_dvds/

I just purchased one for my Mum for Mother's day. Of course I will have to make sure it's good quality before giving it to her.

Just buy her copies of each of your Grand Final wins, shouldn't cost you much.

It is a little sad that minor round game seems to hold such importance to some Glenelg fans. Most clubs remember great finals wins, especially grand finals.

I know it's already been said... but geez that was pretty piss weak from Glenelg...

Central appears to have kept themselves around about the mark when compared to 2010, but from what I've seen this season, it's beginning to look like the other 2010 finalists are considerably worse. I don't know what is wrong with the other clubs, but their certainly not providing myself (and maybe other supporters) with any real confidence.

Recent results would lead one to believe that Central will finish 3-4 games clear on top.

It's almost like we have a league that includes Collingwood and 8 GWS's.

How can a full squad get thumped by 17 men on their home deck by 75 points? That must be the crappiest effort since crappy efforts were first invented by Johnathon Crap and Charlie "turdy" Turdhead and the "Give-a-Shit-Glee-Club" back in the Shit Ages.
Crap effort Bays.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Small uselss stat

Glenelg major round wins 43
Central major round wins 28

And yes your winning percentage is greater than ours.

Our winning percentage in major round games is only bettered by Port, Eagles (only if you exclude Torrens and Woodville) Centrals, Sturt and North. I draw small comfort from the fact that unlike your major record from 1971 to 1994, we have managed to win a few games since 1992...

But anyhow, in the cold light of day I can do nothing but admire your teams performance yesterday. Without question the best minor round win I've ever seen.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I'm sure West fans went around gloating last season they were only bettered by Central, Norwood, Eagles, Gleneld and Sturt.

We were poor for those years, no doubt. Any worse than Glenelg making the finals once from 1921-1949?

Once again though, it is amazing how often that game comes up. I don't think it bothers dogs fans as much as you'd like it to. I think most of us shake our heads and laugh.
