to me it was better than training on the track
learnt more about some of my team than i ever would watching them have a kick and catch
suggest all coaches do it and one stage or another
a great exercise
hey numbers, didnt see you take off but will see you next thursday
have a good break

fantastic idea.. a coach i had a few years back did it after we lost a couple of games in a row... it was mid season... after that we knocked of the top side and ended up making the finals. very good idea to break things up and just unwind a bit...

thanks
i also believe to be a coach, and to be the best you can ,you cant do it without knowing your guys
i make a point of learning about them as much as i can and i try to let them know me because their has to be a mutual respect
i have guys that will be leaving mid season to go to afganastan to fight and then some after the season
to know these guys and what they have to go thru makes you aware of how they think
but they are no different to the family guys, the unemployed, the divorced or any other of the guys
know your people, learn how they think and act and it works wonders how you can all help each other
and as you know a happy player will give yuo 100%every time

we win and lose as one

the university game this week has been switched from an away game to the cattery.
they were unable to use any of their ovals
that means the next two games have been switched to our home games

Hope to be available for either the second switched game or maybe the week after.
The fracture is coming along pretty well at the moment.

Nice of the council to have the sprinklers timed to come on during training. Must have been trying to help us prepare for the wet weather

I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

good win by the boys today
over uni by 49 points
two in a row but we need to rember not to get too far in front of ourselves
the pleasing things are the fact we are playing with spirit, discipline and honesty
we make a point of always respecting our opposition and with that respect we will start to recieve it return but we have to keep on working hard to earn it
well done to the new boys and hopefully the two major injuries will not be as serious as first thought

we fight as one
we win and lose as one

Any word on the guy who had to be stretchered off?

Is it going to effect his deployment?
