I heard Marc Cox wants to be a one club man for the rest of his career

What can a club truly think when this type of player rocks up at the club? Surely you wouldnt actively pursue a player like that. Not good for a club or side trying to build?

We had the pleasure of Mr Cox committing to us a couple of years ago. Lasted about 5 weeks into the season before he started his annual pilgrimage. The annoying thing about it is he seemed so sincere.

From a club point of view, when recruiting is over and the list looks pretty right - to then lose a player of his obvious ability can be pretty hard to swallow.

About 15 clubs have enjoyed Marc and his delightful entourage now, for that 5-8 game period. Can not see too many clubs being that silly again however unless they are either stupid or really stupid. The game is up.

Im pretty confident I can speak for North Haven and say that he is not welcome back under any circumstances

Playing up at Clare for one of the sides there. think north clare. never played at smosh but name was chucked about a few times. can play as for the entourage never had anything to do with them. nice enough bloke to have a few beers with. Played reserves maybe a league game for norwood, port and westies. played with henley, pt districts, Maybe Seaton, maybe Nth Haven, para hills, Encounter bay, Kersbrook maybe missed a few. went to St micks

FP over CBC - 8 goals - Dolphins seem to be struggling - FP too good
Portland over PH - 6 goals - Portland should get the points reasonably easily
Mitcham over Smosh - 2 goals - match of the round - Could go either way, Mitcham at home getting over the line.
Pembroke over Pooraka - 2 goals - Pembroke only due to HG advantage
GG over Seaton - 2 goals - havent seen either sides yet... so just having a guess!

I think the match between PH and ourselves will be a close one. Most people have tipped against PH but from all reports and the way the ladder sits. They look better than they did last year. With us having the great starts we usually do at the beginning of the season we wont be taking this one lightly. Our side looks pretty strong and still we have 4-5 blokes not available. Our depth looks better than last year and this weeks hit out will be tough and competitive like last year.

Yeah should be a great game, hope the weather holds out till after the game.. Or it could turn out an ugly scrappy game, although that would still be a good one to watch.

Played a handfull of league @ norwood, never cracked west's league & that's when it started. Have missed a few i think, I'll ask him next time i see him.. Good bloke & family is family? Maybe going back to Kersbrook?

SMOSH beat Mitcham by 6 pts, Mitchams time keeper blew the siren 3 minutes before it was due to go.

Flinders Park beat CBC by 8 points. Saw the game - Flinders Park were lucky to win in the end and are over-rated IMO. I think CBC will surprise a few teams in the coming weeks, they had a few big outs today and put in a gutsy effort

watched Portland beat Para Hills today, the only positive for Para Hills was they played like crap and only lost by 11 points. If you didnt know what the score was you would have thought Portland were in front by 6-8 goals. Like to know the free kick count, very over umpired, too many frees paid both ways.
Looking at the other results still doesnt give a clear favourite for the premiership. Great comp, could go down to the wire as for who plays finals and who gets relegated. Early wins in the season will be like gold come to the pointy end of the stick.
