Anyone considering trading in J-Roo this week?

I've got the urge to do some aggressive trading to start my upgrade period early!

He's very tempting mate. Only thing stopping me is he'll be playing on Merrett this week who'll make life pretty hard for J-Roo (hope I didn't put the moz on big Merrett now!)

His BE is 36 though, so Merrett would have to give him an absolute bath for J-Roo's price to drop.

I think J-Roo is good value at his current price

He's not my ideal world choice for for $357K the likely Coleman medallist is worth considering I reckon

I may consider 1 trade this week after having a look at the form guide.

Might bring in rookie Brisbane ruck Broc McCauley to free up the 100g or so that the spudilicious Vickery is holding up at the moment.

Vickery is probably my only glaring pre-season selection error. Thought at the very least he'd be good bye coverage but he hasn't even been that.

As there seem so few downgrade targets I think it might be time to move out Otten and bring in Thompson, on the bubble, and if picked.
This will free up some cash for Round 8 when the Pies come back.
Also, I hope for one big score this week from Krak and then he can go.

What's McCauley's chances of continuing to play?

I was thinking maybe Diguan to Thomson and Knights to J Roo, which would leave me a bit of spare cash to target Selwood or Pav next week. Bit nervous about Cyril through.......

I'd say pretty good, at least until Brown returns. Mitch Clarke will probably take over the rucking duties then. If MCauley keeps playing well I reckon he'll get a decent run.

Round 6 - Teams, Trades & Discussion

Postby White Line Fever » Thu Apr 28, 2011 3:24 pm

L.Thompson in is too good to resist.
@103k with a potential +153k

Otten the obvious out

J.roo also is as cheap as a Coleman medallist can be but the question is krak or knights out?
With pies bye next week krak seems better to go.

Higgins sore, lots of big name players bye will be lots of donuts and low scores this week.
Hopefully Buckley & batchelor get a run this week !!!

I'm not too sure about getting Jack Riewoldt in the side. I personally would stay away but I guess it's up to your on sides and what they need. His price reflects where we are at the moment
