Any danger of Luke Harrip getting some luck? Face rearranged on the eve of last year by a team mate's elbow now misses a month with a Hamstring

Yeah, I did see that and felt for the lad Heater - hopefully he can get some luck on his side once he is over the hammy issue.

Geez not good news for Brayden O'Hara, oh well guess its an oppurtunity for someone else to stand up maybe a Waldhuter (if not suspended), Habel or maybe even Cullen.

I think it's brilliant news. The way he came off it only ever looked like a broken collarbone, but there is always the thought when someone comes off like that they've got a dislocated shoulder. A full recon even if it works is an ugly injury and is season over. As it is he'll make a full recovery and return for finals, form permitting.

Also nice to see the word test next to Chad O'Sullivan. Would be great just to see him run around the park again. And an actual date for Varcoe is another nice development.

For the uneducated (me), how many on Westies list would be likely or potential league players? That's a fair list they're carrying yet they're still taking all before them.

CP, all bar Molitor have played League; 4 or 5 would be in our best 25-ish players.

It is interesting to see how exhaustive some clubs make their injury lists. Some years you see clubs naming reserves players who are down for a test, other clubs don't even name their first choice league players who are certain to miss. Always makes me feel like some clubs are trying to load up excuses, while others are trying to play ducks and drakes. And I get the feeling neither makes any difference.

Yeah it is probably the best case out of a bad situation.

Is definatly hard to come back from an dislocated shoulder even if its only cricket nevermind football, i learnt that this cricket season.

Great to see Chad O'Sullivans name absent from the Centrals injury list at long last.

Will be interested to see if Hayes, Nash or Obst actually bob up and play for Centrals this week despite being listed as injured.

I would suggest that probably the one in red would be the only player we will see a chance of that happening with.

The news on Boyd, J. Gowans and Dutschke is better than I'd hoped for in all cases.

Slattery passing his fitness test could prove a nice little bonus, but overall looks like we have a few weeks where a handful of ressies guys will get a real chance to press for more selection opportunites in the side and to prove they have what it takes long term.

No Hayes, Sibenaler or Reichert robs us of 3 of our top 4 key defenders though. Havelberg could go back there but that robs our forward line big time. Interesting selection this week, that's for sure.
