seven on the bench is a real headache for a coach - especially when they're all on the smaller side...

good to the sanfl taking a leaf out of the saafl's c divisions...

Playing the Mckenzie card so soon?

The strudel industry mourns.
It's funny, that comment reminds me of last years game at Elizabeth. One of the guys in the "Norwood cap group" in front of the stand, from the very first siren constantly yelled out Jibes to Buckets revolving arounf Hungry Jacks, KFC etc. Fortunately, we didn't hear him in the second half. I think he realised he was un-original and embarrasing himself and those around him. It was a good win.
Similar story to last years QF - a group of Norwood supporters near us were bagging him early on - they were soon silenced when they realised Buckets was absolutely flogging Norwoods rucks!

It does surprise me given this should be the biggest minor rd game of each year, just how little the Adelaide Anzac Day gets compared with Collingwood v Essendon.

That said LifeFM will be there from 2.30pm giving you a full 40 minute pre-game show prior to the first bounce at 3.10pm.

I've been too busy with my charcoal BBQ.

Plus, Callinan isn't playing.

Given the free entry to serving ADF personnel and the central location of the game, what odds that today's game will have a larger announced attendance than the PAAAAA shocker against the Suns at Footy Pk(21k)? God wouldn't that be a turn up for the ages and give the Advertiser a conniption fit(OMG - there's more to sport than the AFL? you might hear the cry in the tiser rooms!)
C'mon you Reds....Adelaide United = its just like watching Brasil!!!

I love both footy[NOT the V/AFL!] and soccer, is that even allowed??;)

As much as I'd love to see that happen, it wont. I think they will be happy with around and should get about 8000.

I think the Lennies model would be a good one to follow .. The Raunchy Girls would be a hit for sure, and then we could have Clowns Of Decadence or Circus Animals after the match

The AFL gets a lot more exposure , just like a normal SANFL round. One way to change that is to have a decent crowd roll up and have the game start earlier will help that.

littlebayman doesn't want to go today....why ? it isn't because glenelg aren't playing it is because they wont let him kick the ball at the breaks during the day & they do advertise the fact that at sanfl games you can have a ''kick & catch'' at the breaks
