I wouldn't be reading too much into it. A heap of young PL kids are heading to nearby leagues for a sea change. I see on the weekend a GFFL club played another young up and coming demon. Made the best players too...

Kingsley Bilney now has clearance pending from Central Whyalla back to PLFL. Mallee Park or MR with Wes??? does anyone including them know wtf is going on, these guys are jokes!!

Nothing advising of Wes being cleared to or from Central either, did he play un-cleared on the weekend?

This guy gets a reasonable honorarium and should be able to complete the core functions of his role. It’s embarrassing that the biggest League on EP is the one behind the 8 ball with this kind of stuff.

I flicked off an email to the PLFL about this OnSong and was advised that the site updates automatically upon the completion of a clearance and it was out of the Leagues control.

I'm just not sure how the site knows a clearance has been completed, or why only half of the transaction is being updated (Lands showing as in for Tumby but nothing at all on Waybacks page for example).

I'm awaiting a reply

Brock tweaked the settings on the site and all PL clearances have now updated.

Makes for some interesting reading, several recruits now gone again. Rangers lost Miegel, Tasmans lost Hissey. Clearances out then back in again a week later. I have never seen so much pre-season crap going on in all my life!!!

Still no Vogelsanger listed as out for Waybacks??

Think you will find that because of the late start to the Port Lincoln season some players have been cleared for a week to play elsewhere and gain some match fitness.

Probably the case with the Bilneys, Hissey and definitely so with Jesse Kemp playing for Cowell.

Yes, I was informed after my post that permits show up on the site as clearances as well.

I have also discovered that any club can lodge a clearance for anyone and it will show up on the site. If there is no paperwork it is obviously automatically denied. The William Roderick one from Bostons to Mallee Park was one the MP hierachy lodged on there simply because they were annoyed we were getting three of their players, William knew nothing about it!!

Heard a rumour today that a runner for a gf footy team was reported for striking on the weekend and subsequently has been banned from attending his teams games for the rest of the season, does anyone know anything about this, doesn't sound good if true.

it was a father running water during a senior match, who witnessed an incident against his son during the game which he perceived to be unneccessary, and reacted to the player involved.he was charged with attempted striking[slapped], pleaded guilty and is allowed to attend games is not allowed on the oval for the rest of this year.I am aware that the person involved is genuinely remorseful for his reaction, and has apologised to all clubs and umpires involved.A good learning lesson for clubs to not have parents or relatives to be on the field while their kids are playing.
And so the season begins.....
