I would say almost certain, especially with Suban injured.

Silly question, but what teams have the bye this weekend?
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?

So the dilemma i currently face is one, I'm sure, many supercoaches are up against... Who to bring in for Coad...

I have $190K in the bank and could carry him if necessary but I don't think hat would bea good option...

I have Heppell, B Smith, Duigan, Lower, Batchelor with premiums of Gibbs, Goddard, Deledio and H Shaw...

So options that I've looked at are;

Watson (Carlton) - considering I've already got two blues in defence I'm not keen on his one
Johnson (Sydney) - with the bye this week I can afford to hold off, not sure about him though
Toy (GCS) - a popular choice
Hibberd (Essendon) - just not sure when his first game will be, again can afford to hold off for at least two
Pederson (Nth. Melb) - iirc a backman... Big score on debut but haven't seen him since

so many options, but which is he best one?!? What is everyone else doing?
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

I'm eyeing off Hibbard, like you say, can wait a few before i do it, the issue is if you wait and decide no, then you've missed the boat on the next best option.
For the record, already have Toy and Stanley so both of them aren't an option.

Doesn't appear to be any real rush to offload him as you have enough to cover.
Unless you pick up a blue chip player the new player will be sitting on the bench.
So therefore you are looking for an investment player. Toy would be first choice followed by McKernan.
I think Maric will get dropped and McKernan's game time/role will increase and hopefully his return will too.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

A quick question about the partial lockout - can I still trade out Sydney, West Coast and Melbourne players after tomorrow nights game?

Dream Team I swapped Coad for Toy.
Gonna sit and wait with Supercoach as Toy is a better DT than SC option.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Regarding the Coad trade, the problem with holding him and waiting for Hibberd is that you won't make any money out of it, while your competitors who don't have Coad will cash in some other rookie (when Hibberd is on the bubble) and bank $200-$300.

Trades are for LTIs. Burn one now and bring in another cash cow, with Toy probably being the best option of all available for a straight swap.

When does the lockout begin,

will this weeks teams be announced before the lockout, so we can make trades with all our players.

Around 4PM tomorrow, teams with extended benches will be named.

Partial lockout begins at start of tomorrow night's game, after which Brisbane and St Kilda players will be locked.

Can trade players from all other teams until full lockout at start of first game on Saturday.
