to be honest mate, we truely didnt know how we'd go this year. rocky even said at preso's after the game looking at the start of the season playing 2 teams that played finals last year in div 2 and you blokes coming down. we could well have been 0-3. also its still only rd3!!

also jimmy wasnt taking the piss, kelly played for sturt 2's which is great for him! and temme wasnt going to play due to injury, but when rogan went down he played (probably shouldn't have)

You blokes will win the flag by plenty so don't give us the "we wanted to see how we'd go" rountine.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!! - It is a matter of who will be going to Division 1, along with the Princesses as opposed to who might play off on Grand final day. Absolutely smashed Districts yesterday, like they were not there and blew the game away in the final quarter, as if nobody was playing against them. Prince Alfred in D1 already in 2012. That and the guys just mentioned who were missing, plus whoever else they might have stored up and no one knows about yet. Far too good for the rest of the competition.

Clearly you don't read that well - I said that they would be promoted to Division 1 and that they will be there on Grand final day. Nothing about a premiership If you were there Saturday, you would also have drawn that conclusion.

Haha close enough being their on GF day. I agree they will be right at the top of Div 2 but i would expect plenty of fight from ROCS, Iggies and expect Districts not to get to worried about that loss so early in the season with players out.

Davo, I was there on Saturday, and the princes did play good footy, but if that was their best, i think they can be matched. Port districts played a thier worst yesterday, no run, simple skill errors, just wasnt district like. The only shining light was Ryan Sampson, who seemed to be everywhere and amassed atleast 45 possesions and never gave up all day, i think all those weight sessions with scotty thompson are starting to show. With about 7 regualre a graders out, we should be able to bounce back next week against old iggies at thebby....

Bird Of Prey was stating Port Districts were premiership favourites before Sat game v PAOC.

With whats to come back into PAOC's team ( experienced players ) i'd be very surprised to see them ( PAOC ) not win the flag.
