On of the most unusual treatments for the shits. He was observed walking to the bench after the half time break with the back of his right leg heavy bandaged and with what looked like a very large ice pack. People would come to a very logical conclusion to what the injury was. Time will tell I suppose.

Looks like Dalwood is predicting an Imps flag this year:

Not sure how true your info is mate

I remember this quote a little while back "Hunter, Warnest & Harte will all front for Mannum by start of 2nd round"

How many of them played on the weekend?

I was sure it would've been his left leg, after the 34 kicks (according to the "official" stats) I saw him have in Round 1 v Ramblers! Muscle fatigue for sure. I guess his right leg is required to balance him for all those kicks though...

Hall will play Saturday!

Warnest has started training along with Josh Croxton (played B grade Sat) & Matt Connelly, Hunter has ankle op on 18th April starts training 4 weeks after that, Harte moves into House in May in Mannum & as previosly stated at start of R2 Mannum v Ramblers @ Ramblers will all be available.

Round 3 Tips

Mannum v Mypolonga- Will be a cracking game, & I think depends alot on whether both clubs have their players available. Chris Hall is in doubt for Mannum which would be a big blow, & the Tigers would be pretty sore after a Tough/physical game last week
Mannum 1-10 points

Imperials v Ramblers- I think everyone has under estimated Ramblers this year with some key outs pre season, but we showed against Mannum, that the fitness is good, & have the ability to match the best sides. Again could be swayed by the availabity of players, but.... Ramblers by 11-20

Tailem v Meningie- Well what has happened at Bear land? A couple of their recruits were average last week, but they are a strong side & will cause many clubs head aches. Tailem will rely on there Guns to carry the load every week, & if they get enough of it could hurt and club in the comp, but for how long?
Meningie 21-30

Roos vs Tigers - This could possibly be the game to get to have a look at as the tigers have really made some head way on their opponents this season. But still have a bit too do in my eyes and therefore will go down to the Roos but not without a good hard contest. Roos by 20 points

Blues vs Chooks - This is the match of the round and will be a very interesting battle the Chooks will be no push overs this year and still probly the quiet favourites. But i do believe the Blues do have some pretty good rythem at the moment and are up and about after 2 pretty good wins. I am tipping the Blues in a real close one. Blues by under a goal.

Eagles vs Bears - The bears have got off to a pretty ordinary start to the year and this you would think will be their opportunity to get themselves on the board with a solid win. But if the Eagles guns find alot of the ball they could make it a little harder for them but dont think they will be able to manage it all day. Bears by 30+

I think Mannum and Meningie will win easily. Not so sure about the third game. Clint Giradi has been the difference between Ramblers and Imperials over the past few years. If he fires Ramblers win. With Benny Quast back to his very best form this will be a great clash. If Quast can hold Giradi to 3 goals I reckon Imps will win. Whatever the result it will be well worth the 6 bucks admission to watch this game.

Very interesting to see Mypo beating Mannum, maybe they will push for a top 3 finish.

Imperials were very disappointing yesterday. They were missing a few key players but some of the skills shown were terrible. Poor use of the ball all day killed them and didnt look like kicking a goal at one stage.

Ramblers were also missing some important players so they have no excuses for there performance

Good to see meninge on the board aswell but its also obvious that Tailem have improved dramatically on last year and may scare a couple of the top teams

Saw the Imps vs Ramblers game yesterday. No doubt that Imps missed Honner, Davey and Kenny but not sure whether that would have mattered. Giradi has developed into an outstanding forward and can kick goals against any team unlike a lot of country forwards who do well against lower teams but struggle in tough games. Hard to see Ramblers losing many games on that performance. Imps need a key forward if they are serious about being a contender this year.

Didnt see the game on the week end but from what i am told the chooks where better than good and it wouldnt of mattered if you had Wayne Carey in the forward line the delivery and skills from all around the ground was absolute second rate not just into the forward line. Was also informed from someone that seen the game he thinks it is the worst display he has ever seen from an Imps side in alot alot of years.

thought this sight was to promote football and not to bag the players who are at least out there having a go. I cant remember seeing trewin bragging himself up on this site if you read the comments regarding him they have come from other users. good comment jst lookin even 2 wayne careys would have never saved the blues on saturday just didnt come to play. i missed the game but belkieve it was a shocker from what i have been told.Think u might find trwin is carying injury and didnt play the full game out even. keep watching the blues they will learn from this im sure.

Are you his Mum or something 3rd??
If you can find a post from me bagging an individual (player) please repost it, because I cant recall ever doing it!!! If u read my post correctly, was having a go at the posters who were talking him up only 1 week ago, & now have gone missing. I also quoted that FTO, who is an Imps supporter also stated until he plays well against the better sides he is not a believer just yet. As for injury. If they walk on the ground with it & put their hand out for the envolope after, then they are fair game I say for their clubs supporters to be a little disappointed. If they get injured during the game & try to play on, then thats an act of bravery & should be applauded. You can decide what happened Saturday

I agree Goldberg. Not sure if there has been any bagging on here. As an Imperials supporter all I have said is that I do not think Trewen is going to be a dominant factor in this League. I would call that an observation and not a bagging. I would love to see him dominate games like the legendary Chiko but I cannot see it happening.
