Salisbury West v Lockleys
Rosewater v Hope Valley
West Croydon v Plympton
North Haven v Brahma Lodge
Adelaide Lutheran v Woodville South

I hear on the grape vine that luths may have extra fire power up forward this week with a return appearance of last years div 5 medalist...I have herd an application has been put it as he is back in town for a 1 week only show...if this rumor is true I expect them to sneak over the line...stay tuned

i feel sorry for woodys then and he is wasted up just playing up forward, should play off his wing where he won his medal

Played wing once - against Brahma Lodge.
Every other game he played CHF or on the ball.
I feel sorry for woody South too, bit of pressure on the big fella today, but no more than carrying us for the last 4 years!
Hope he kicks a bag... superstar!

jus saying he played on the ball against us and killed us last year but it was only him and looked like he starred today

4 goal to nothing lead in the first 15 minutes pretty much set the game up for us but as we have done all year is give goals away in extra time but to havens credit massive improvement from last year they deserve to be in div 5..

thought dark knight was impressive but wasted in back lines..

my player personally was quick and young but didnt like manning up which i didnt mind..

seriously thought north haven would be better then that today but its only early and everyone can hit their straps when needed.. wink wink

Well done to Brahma on their win yesterday by 7 points, I couldn't believe it was that close in the end. A slow start and inaccurate goalkicking cost us deerly again and is two things we need to look at and work on. It was quite a scrappy game and I thought a little lackluster at times. As US said, the 4 goal jump they had on us in the first quarter pretty much set the game up for them. We did have a much better second half and got back into it as Brahma started to die off a bit but to their credit they were able to hold us out of it and came away with the 2 points.

Thanks US but I was ordinary yesterday mate. Me and my opponent didn't really see much of it. You were pretty good yourself but I think Brocky just had it over you.

Well done to the B grade who are now top of the ladder, winning by 71 points. They're looking really good at 3 and zip.

On to other games, looks like this year is unfolding quite nicely-

The West Croydon v Plympton would of a good game being a very high scoring affair. West Croydon are now 3 and zip and seems like they're going to very hard to stop. Jim Smith kicking 8 in a losing side is a great effort. We have the Red Dogs in two weeks which is a must win game for both clubs as we're both 1 and 2 after round 3.

Rowan Miegel looked to be the differance kicking 8 for Lutheran as they beat Woody South by 63 points. Thank god he's only back for one week!

Westies bounced back and beat Lockleys by 17 points. Westies seem to be travelling ok and are just slipping under the radar at the moment IMO.

Rossies smashed Hope Valley at home by 72 points as Cohen Mattner kicked 9. HV haven't really started all that will, I reckon they'll enjoy to week off as much as the rest off us to regroup a bit and then get back into it after the Easter break.

Another disappointing game by Lodge's B grade, had the wind and dominated the first 10 minutes for only 1 goal to show, then the endeavour went out the window and Haven's did as they pleased from then. Didn't help our cause with 2 injuries, and guys not chasing or supporting.

Trent Kolbig was awesome in the midfield, as was the little aboriginal fella who played HF. Their "A" graders who played B grade were just too good, as you would expect. We are desperate to get some luck and get a few players back, otherwise we may find ourselves too far behind and leaving it all too late. 4 more injuries across A and B's yesterday, the weekend off couldn't come at a better time!!!

I agree with Masha and well done to North Haven B grade, they carved up all over the ground and at times made us look silly. With the injuries we have at the moment im also glad we have the easter break coming up as it couldnt have come at a better time.

Injuries are no excuse as our opposition can only play the team we put on the field i just hope we dont leave our run to late and can get a few wins on the board over the next few weeks.

well done hawks, the lead changed 3 or so times in the last qtr, hawks fought a very tough & awesome game of footy to come over the top of plympton & get the 2 points

My sources tell me that Miegel kicked 8 goal 6 points, and passed off about 5 more that he should of gone back and had a crack at, apparrently the bloke he was standing was a foot shorter than him which made life pretty easy up forward...woulld of been a good show to watch...I reckon a few of the div 5 defenders will sleep a bit easier if in fact that was just a once off show...if not coaches better start planning now

having the midfield get the ball out and down there quickly would have been nice too. woodville south got smashed in the clearances. was handy to have the big fella down there but he wasnt the reason why we won.

Geez he would of been one of the main reasons why you won.
If he wasn't there who would of made the most of the opportunities that were presented?

Gonna have to agree with you no mercy, although luths may have smashed them in th clearances, going on the bits I seen of luths this year I couldnt imagine the delivery being that crash hot,14 scoring shots and passing a few off seems to make me believe that it could of been a one man forward line, with everyone feeding off him (much like previous years) anyways I guess we will see after the break how they will go without the big target up there...time will tell, that's why we love the game

The way Bomber Clifford went off his nut at three quarter time indicates that maybe Rowan Miegel wasn't his only concern.

Classic theatre from the great man...

And the Cats were only 5 goals down too

Great to see Havens Bs and Cs on top of the ladder.
They deserve some success. I still think there As will make finals and justify the correct decision to stay up in Divvy 5.

I would put the main difference down to a younger side with more pace, you guys started well early but Havens leg speed eventually swung it their way. Losing that little fella certainly hurt.

In the A's another poor start has cost us dearly
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

It is very good to see Duncs, finals footy for the first time in a long time should be the goal for both teams this year

Was a one man forward line for the first three quarters with Luthies isolating the big fella inside the 40m arc. He was well fed by #6 & #17 from the midfield all day. The last quarter many pushed forward to kick goals.
