Port clears from defence to the outer side only to have big Mason take a nice mark on the wing and pump the Roosters back into attack...

Mason looks to perhaps hurt an ankle in that contest. Maggies defenders clear it for the time being and come to the members side wing...

Port then win the ball, pump into attack where a strong mark from Power forward John Butcher sees him line up from 48m out...

His shot on goal drifts to the right but just scrapes in for a goal, his 2nd for the day...

13 minutes in:

North - 12.9 = 81

Port - 8.9 = 57

Great crumbing goal, on the left, by the Roosters skipper there...

Ball back in the middle, North look like they might be home now, 16 minutes into the last term...

Port win the clearance and bring it to centre wing, member side. Sam Gray gets a free kick for a high takcle and pumps the Maggies into attack.

North trying to clear with handball, the Maggies putting them under some pressure but the Roosters fly the coop to the outer side with a switch in play and force it to the wing for a ball up.

4 running bounces to Luke Harder see the Maggies go deep into attack but the North defence holds strong and they clear down the members wing through Teasdale.

Ryswyk's 3rd goal should see the Roosters home from here you would think, just shy of entering time on, leading by 35 points...

Ball back in the middle, a couple of ball ups follow before the Roosters go into attack again with a boundary thrown in over in the north eastern pocket.

Port clear from the ball in and try to come back through the middle where they find Milera in some space on the outer side who finds Dolling at 50. Dolling goes inside to Mercer who marks under the time clock.

Mercer 50 out, comes back inside to find a free Michael Clinch who's shot on goal misses to the left...

Score Check, 22 minutes in...

North - 14.9 = 93

Port - 8.11 = 59
