Thats what I thought too. Also had Nat Caruso with 3 and no goals for Rankine.

Probably going off the Foxtel commentary that only called about one out of six possessions.

Was it just me or after half time did they talk more about AFL issues then than game itself?

I remember Nat Caruso (I think) kicking a great grubber goal from near the boundary and they hardly noticed as it interuppted talk about the AFL substitution rule.

That attitude's crap, and goes to show how farcical the intentions behind this comp are. I enjoy the opportunity to compare SANFL with other comps around the country, especially after reading various sites on the internet, obviously authored by Victorians, which claim the VFL's undisputed supremacy as the second greatest league in the land. But if they are going to have it, then treat it with a bit of respect. They have carved its existence just to gloss up their precious jewel in the crown, but do they have to be so blatant about it?

Very good chance in fact South ressies would beat Ainslie, Morningside, NT Thunder, East Coast, the guide dogs, GWS etc (well maybe not GWS).

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Had a great time today/tonight. Had being on Ammmi before when West Played Centrlas in the Grand Final. Arrived at the ground about 1.30 to set up. Got to experiance Ammi with no crowd in it just somethng thought i would never experiance. Just stood in the middle for few minutes with boys kicking the footy around and soaked it up. Result was great was a bit nervous with all the players we rested and Schmidt being out. Had good chat to some of Anslie boys after the game function. Showdown was ok really couldnt get into the game.

I think a few on the Roost are getting exited about grabbing the 50's North & 150's Westies. Fair bet now.
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.

I remember Nat Caruso (I think) kicking a great grubber goal from near the boundary and they hardly noticed as it interuppted talk about the AFL substitution rule.

In previous games, posters have said the commentary was good, so that's very disappointing. Were the commentators Wayne Schwass, Nathan Eagleton and one other (?).

They were in the rooms before the game for pre-game commentary and I was surprised that Nathan was there (as a West person???), so it's very disrespectful if they were ignoring the game to make other comments.

As for the game, it was pretty enjoyable. Short quarters and not having to worry about the result was good.

No injuries and I'm looking forward to us playing Williamstown.

Yes, it was Schwass, Eagleton and Brett Montgomrie (former Power / Bulldogs) and I agree with Mr Herden's comments, it was a tad annoying to be listening to all the AFL garb.

They got Nathan Eagleton on as a player fresh out of AFL to get his perspective, on the AFL more in the end, which again, was dissapointing.

Yes, bloods08, Nat Caruso did kick 3, but Rankine kicked 1.

Fielke 6

N Caruso 3

Webb 2

Borholm, Davenport, Moran and Rankine each 1.

Does that line up with what you had apart from Rankine?

I had Fort instead of Rankine but that was probably wrong as they are both about the same height.
