No Broadcast of North v Port - SAFooty.net to the rescue

Postby PhilH » Sat Apr 16, 2011 12:13 pm

Hi everyone,

Ive been advised that Telstra has been unable to get a working broadcast line up and running at Prospect and thus the RPH call of Sunday's North v Port clash has been cancelled.

This leaves the game without a live broadcast.

So to fill the gap and with permission from SAfooty.net, Phil Aspinall & I will take our laptops (with wireless internet) to Prospect and from 2PM provide a joint blog through the game.

The idea of a joint blog is that as one is typing the other is posting so it should be continual updates through the afternoon, plus you can ask us LIVE questions through the afternoon.

Cheers

You can "broadcast" from the Taj and get the expert advice and comments from the NGS!

I might ring ya and you can just have one of those iPhone mics pinned on your suit lapel. I reckon I'll get an idea about how were going by how much/little abuse is being yelled.

Here now at Prospect Oval on a BEAUTFUL day in Adelaide...

Perfect weather for football, the ground, bathed in sunshine, is in perfect condition...

Should be a quality game of SANFL today, the Magpies would be full of confidence after their great win last week, while the Rooster will be keen just to get their first win under Francou.

It is currently half time in the reserves game:

North - 7. 5 = 47

Port - 4.6 = 30
