Now PG when did he do this on the friday night?

While the B Grade were playing

Oo Dear thats not so good.
Still very funny tho

Drinking before a game is nothing new. A key Houghton defender does it. Smells like a brewery but he plays well.

If he don't drink he plays shit!

UPDATED
Sacred Heart OC.........................$1.90
Mawson Lakes............................$2.50
Angle Vale.................................$7.50
Tea Tree Gully............................$8.00
Mitchell Park..............................$8.00
North Pines...............................$8.00
Athelstone................................$15.00
Flinders Uni...............................$25.00
Modbury...................................$26.00
Bye............................................POA

Piles of money for SHOC after a very impressive start to the season, if they keep going the way they are Black Caviar will have longer odds. Mawson Lakes holding steady, bit of inwards movement for Angle Vale after their positive showing on the weekend, TTG also coming in significantly after the return of some favourite sons - making the middle of the division a bit of a log jam with Mitchell Park and North Pines. Speculative money for Flinders Uni sees them move out of favouritism for the spoon whilst Modbury's lack of depth has seen them slot into last position.

Glad to see the Mitchell Park FC are an equal opportunity employer. Their B Grade umpire is a disgrace.

Perhaps he is the twin of the Angle Vale B grade umpire
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

SHOC and North Pines losing points for playing unregistered players in their wins a couple of weeks ago...accidents or deliberate?

Well shocs defintley wasnt deliberate being their c grade and with so many players missing out. It was for a 17yr old kid that forgot he filled in for edwardstown last year in their u/18s

Nah being from the SFL it didnt.....and i thought we were all part of the APPS, so surely the transfer systems should all be linked now. As you said the system "should" pick this up

Mawson Lakes were simply too good for us on Saturday, much more disciplined and had more class across the ground. Very even side and although Novosel kicked 9 I think a fair amount of the contribution came from everyone.

Good to meet you Riddler! I have to admit I thought you were a crotchety old man! haha. Not sure why I thought that. Apologies for not being able to stick around longer, had to go and see the crowbots get whipped.

Thought you were harsh on my player. He was as tight as any defender I have played on, to the point that he had touch and was inbetween me an the play at all times, even when the footy was at the other end of the ground. He got stiched a couple of times trying to cover his team mates. Good lad as well, I hope his hip is OK.

Cheers for the beer Morell, I shall return the favour on the return leg ;)
Yeah I was pretty happy with our performance yesterday considering the blokes we had out...we looked like midgets compared to you guys, you got quite a big side and play a good, hard, physical game which should bode you well for the rest of the year. I got a bit of a scare there in the last quarter though when you guys got a run on :)

Looking forward to the 2 week break for us, gives us a chance to freshen up.
I set high standards for our defenders and the fact you lead him to the footy quite comfortably a couple of times goes against what we practice but he did play well otherwise apart from gifting you your first goal haha

Yeah I think we got it to about 3 goals in the last, then I dropped a sitter - will blame the sun. and then you blokes piled on the last 3. It was our start that cost us though 5-1 at quarter time or thereabouts will always make things difficult.

Yeah I think we would be too. Need Ortmann, Lindholm and Sumner back if we are to be competitive with the top sides.

Yeah that was a bit lucky, so was my second actually, I still haven’t worked out what the free was for.

... and to be honest that is a pretty ordinary comment from fuzz.

It's hard enough getting B Grade umpires to essentially volunteer their time, without the abusive crap from people who happen to disagree with some decisions.

You simply aren't going to get quality umpires at Div 7R level. Either have to live with it, play for a club in the higher grades or take up croquet.

I don't know if you saw much of the B grade game Morell, but I know what you are saying it is great people volunteering etc, but people like Fuzz get angry when countless times the player with the head over the ball was NOT protected. I am all for people volunteering, but the basics must be understood and acted upon or else there will be a serious injury sooner or later because a particular umpire continuosly let it happen and for the team he was umpiring for!!!
Very bizarre also that he told the timekeepers in one quarter to blow the siren

Not having a go or anything just think I know where Fuzz was coming from! Every needs its volunteers, but the safety of the players needs to come into it!

You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Volunteers or not, if you can't do the job competently.....don't do the job. Player safety is paramount coaching lower grade reserves teams.
