I think the league will be alot closer this year, the farmers have improved from last year, they were right in the game until the last 10 min on satdi, couple more games in their legs and they should be able to play out all 4 quarters and be competitive. It will be good to see how far BOS have come since we faced off in D7 for the first time. If Kenilworth knock off the units this week you would consider them front runners, United put up a hell of a fight in round 1 and by beating Glenunga who seem to be highly fancied this year they have shown they will be right in the mix come finals time. Its going to be a very interesting year, Bring on the next 16 weeks of footy!!!

would be interested to hear your views tl23 on how bos compare and what's changed.
my personal view, and some may disagree and no offence to the current group, i think our list in 2006/2007 was a little better across the board than currently. there's been a lot of change as happens at most clubs over 4-5 years.
however the likes of millikan, sonogan, rugari * 2, swiderski, parente, battams were fine players. spry, hillman * 2, glenholmes still there now but in particular millikan, sonogan and battams were prime movers and big blokes for us back then.

Any tips for the reserves...Are the Uni sandbaggers at it again this season or were CLG lacking depth last week?

zedman wrote:Colonel Light Gardens v Henley - danger game for CLGFC after last years surpriseHoughton Districts v Glenunga - GFC need to respond to their loss last week..no teams posted for GFC
Ingle Farm v Adelaide University - IFFC to get their first win of the year
Kenilworth v Central United - big test for CUFC on a very unhappy hunting ground for them historically
Trinity OS v Blackfriars OS - tight tight game..just leaning to BOSFC due to TOSFC not quite getting it together yet
good luck to all this weekend..

Feeling the pain zed, our A Grade has 7 outs from last weeks thanks to weddings, holidays and goddamn injuries
