There was another Graham who played for Centrals in the 80's, left footer, that I always thought went alright, Colin maybe?

Not thinking of Phil Graham were you CP? He was a right footer who played for quite a few years in the Eighties..(from memory)

Colin Graham played for Centrals inthe 80's also.

Wilbur played over 150 games at Centrals I reckon. Very consistent half forward flanker, who knew where the goals were. Wilbur, Sewer and Robson were probably my fave opposition players in the 80's.

Unfortunatly never played at even SANFL level so is probably ruled out, BUT anyone who got to see this football genius play will appreciate how brilliant he was as a football. At his time at Eastern Park he did some of the most miraculous stuff i have seen on a football field.

Im loving the fact i get to watch his son run around now for Central reserves and have the occasional chat to Troy.

Actually I think I was mate, and the fact I thought he was a lefty was because I was picturing a goal he kicked in the 84 finals series.

I would like to add wingman Bertie Johnson as well. Also from the 60s, Port's Richie Bray was a good player.

well he's 14 short of 200,may not be a premiership player yet or a norm smith medallist but when his career is over i think he'll stack up pretty favourably against byron. not saying pickett wasnt a great player!

- Kieron Keeler, three Medals also over a seven year period in the Port Augusta leagues.

- I don't think Robert Jackamara qualified under the number of seasons rule, but when over Port Lincoln way, he averaged around eight goals a game for some time. Do any posters remember him from the early to mid 90's?

Dont know where Johncock is going to get two premierships from but it certainly wont be at the Crows, will be lucky if he ever gets to play in a GF so a norm smith is a very long shot.

didnt he going into hiding in the Northern Territory.

What about Gilbert McAdam, Eddie Hocking or even Elijah Ware (3 time premiership player), Eddie Sansbury (cue dutchy) 3 time SANFL premiership player, 2 time VFL premiership player.

McAdam is the only realistic candidate of those, but being from NT may exclude him. Ware is a long way off.

While i agree in playing ability he is miles away compared to the rest if you are comparing on SANFL records his 3 premierships put him right up there compared to alot of the other players mentioned.

"Played a combined five or more years with an SANFL Club, SA based AFL Club and an SA Community Football Club."

Goodes didn't even start playing football until going to school in Victoria, might as well as include anyone who farted in the general direction of SA.

Each to their own. I'm having Goodes, born and bred South Aussie. You need some sort of criteria when selecting these kind of teams and we've come up with ours.
