I heard the NAFA were allocating the same to all. 15 points. I think it would be rare for these clubs to gain 5 recruits that are not locals in one season anyway.

Can i have a slight dig at the establishment here.... Why is the NAFA so slow at updating its Sporting pulse clearances? For those of us living away from the district but maintaining a healthy interest in the association it is most frustrating. Is it the clubs themselves that maintain this or the NAFA hierarchy? I know, I know its busy on the farm, there arent enough volunteers etc but other competitions (with the same issues) have managed to keep up with the times.

Besides all that I can say that I will watch on with interest as always, especially the Maggies under young Stace!

BMW looked really good against West Augusta over six 20-min qtrs at Melrose on Saturday. Westies up by a point at the end but they would have expected to do better. Southern Flinders hammered BSR two weeks ago. My mail is that Kieron Hicks from Padthaway is every bit as good as Matty Woolford who has taken his two Mail medals to Central Augusta.

hey ST don't you buy the paper? Hicks is a gun from Padthaway who played Zone for South East in 2005/2006 as a 17 and 18 year old. I saw him play in Berri in 06 and I saw him training with SF last week and he is a class act no doubt mate

A few of them are going back to adelaide and one or two are retiring and a cupl of them got the shits with how the club got ran last year concerning players only playing a few games then going missing and then cumn back at finals time. So the lads that had done the hard work all year then got the flick... plus a few of them dont like the idea of getting a pom over here costing big $$ and then costing one of there juniors a game.

Lunch was a disaster. Got stuck with the bill and no fruitful info. Stephen Lynch has a lot to answer for!

simon was a good player a couple of years ago when other teams didn't know who he was, he hasn't played a good game in 2 years. All what teams need to do is make someone play close to him and he doesn't like it, he will crack the shits and will not get a kick all game. He has all the talent in the world but will never go and earn his own kick, there were games last year when he was playing for squids he actually didn't get any touches.

Must have been a wonderful last quarter by Crystal Brook at the Brook on saturday to put on almost as many scoring shots as they had for the entire game, keep the Pies to 3 points and win the game. Was there a strong breeze ? I see JP scored 8 goals in the second quarter going to the same end as they had in the last though.Good to see Oakley best player. Early medal favourite?
I got a surprise to read BMW beat Southern Flinders so easily, especially when looking at the quarter time scores where it was 6 goals to 2 the other way! 19 goals in 3/4 is a great effort, especially against Southern Flinders.
I thought Broughton might have beaten Orroroo but got that wrong too.
0 from 3 after 1 round!
Anyone see any of these games? Comments?
