Rumour has it that Gaza are possibly in big trouble and have had some players on the verge of walking out or already have. For some reason as recently as last night they were ringing players, in particular a ruckman. Not all is well at the moment with Meady chasing players this late in the pre-season.

Any other reports gentlemen? Is it true Darren Mead might have to play all 18 positions - at once?!

Maybe he thought that the club would do the recruiting and all he had to do was rock up and coach. He is on some big dollars and the reality of the heat he might be under is hitting home ie lack of recruits.

Anyone from GAYZA or close to them know what's going on?

it's interesting there chasing a ruckman, considering they have that massive guy jack there.. i think used to play for birdwood or gum... one of the country div clubs... and is apparently doing well down there. does anyone know if he's playing there again?

The report is he has left the club after a falling out thats why they are chasing a ruckman, he is a big lad that Jack fella. Played for Birdwood, theyd loveto have him back now they are going to the big smoke to play in the hill city div.
Mark Shadiac/Bayliss would know whats going on at GAYZA, he was tied up with them somehow.

In a bit of news, apparently there's been a 37 year old (wouldn't name him even if I did know who it was) whose been hawking himself around to the highest bidder amongst Country Division clubs. When this player got back to a club that had previously shown some interest, the player said "this mob's going to give me $300 a game" , to which the club replied "if you can get that much you go for it because we're certainly not interested in matching it".
