Compare this non offence to the one in the GF that breaks a guy's jaw in a deliberate premeditated act that gets nothing !

Ian Callinan didn't pre-meditate breaking Phillips' jaw [/b]SDK, he did intend on making contact with him in the act of the shepparding attempt and obviosuly last year, this new AFL style points system for the tribunal was not adopted so that's not relevant.
That being said though, it would be interesting to see the results of incidents from season's gone by had this new system been in place then. Callinan might have found himself missing games, James Gowans would have probably got more than 3 weeks for the 2007 GF Schubert incident.
I agree with CP's thoughts on the North v Port thread, this is not good that the SANFL have adopted this system now, I don't think there will be too many decisions that will please.

As a matter of fact staritski, I was sitting on the boundary line for LifeFM and was about 10m away from where the bump was laid on Phillips by Callinan.
Enough said on that though, it is in the past, what has happened happened, Phillips himself said he felt there was nothing wrong with what Callinan did, it was just one of those footy things.
Anyway, this thread is about 2011 Reports and Tribunal hearings, probably best if we all just leave 2010 alone and move on, myself included.
