Because they keep showing **** sports!! Major League Baseball, Golf (great sport to play but not watch on tv), Swimming, Netball, "Extreme" paintball, Nascar. I'm not surprised their ratings are down.

Time for Channel 9 to step up and start a dedicated sports channel. I grew up thinking 9 was the home of sport...cricket, Wide World Of Sports on saturdays and sundays. Use Channel 90 imstead of the GEM crap and use the NRL as their main drawcard and go hell for leather at the AFL. It would be great to get live NRL into Adelaide.

As a big fan of American Sports, I fear the repercussions of this. Plus the missus loves the Netball on there.

TV for the most part is absolute BS and has been for too long.
