If Smackem cant get a side together - what happens with the draw. As the draw is uneven....they cant allocate wins to the teams, can they? It would seem very unfair!!

Boys for one thing both Dougie Clinch and Don are top blokes and Don did not get much money at all to coach Flaggies and Dougie didnt get any. Im sure MatteeG can vouch the list was not boasting with talent that year but the 17s went very well. In all top blokes, no big dollars and Don will go far in the SANFL from all recent reports.

Can someone please tell me - Trevor Rigney formerly Noarlunga and Sth Adel. (I think) is very very good to say the least. Any feedback on his younger brother Jeremy who has followed him to Jervois also seeking big bucks. Is Jeremy just riding his brothers coat tails or can he actually play the game?

Don was definately on big bucks. Trevor Rigney was from sullies and his brother Jeremy, did follow him up there for money, but only a quarter of what Trevor is getting. I would say that Trev is worth ten times more. Jeremy is a fringe A grader, who doesnt make it on the park very much! But a change in of enviroments might do him some good as he is only young.

The figure has already been mentioned on one of the posts by someone else on here. Which is correct. I think Jeremy might have played a couple of games for south juniors, but who hasnt...haha!!
From what ive heard hes known for his talking it up, he might be able to back it up in a league that isnt that strong tho!!

Fair enough re Jeremy, from all reports he isnt worth the coin his contract is written on. He went one club asking for the same amount his bro was on if they both came, that club simply said sorry no room (but ya bro can come)

Let me know if Im wrong but where the hell would flaggies get 18k from for a coach and then not get any players?

As may have already been mentioned, Beau Kempster is apparently staying on in the HFL after all, despite being linked with a return to Lonsdale.

there was a couple that looked quite dangerous in the midfield for the black team :D . Sotters moved well across H.F. not bad for a backman!

Andrew Pudney made his first appearance on the track last night. If stays fit will be one of the best players in the leauge. Only played a few games last year because of injury. Originally from Melbourne, also spent one year on Richmonds rookie list under Jeff Gieschan. Will be like a new recruit for the Saints.

Nope Kane is back at Lonsdale.

Re Jeremy Rigney - When Sullies and Lonsdale merged Jeremy was wiith South juniors, then came back and injured a knee, was out for well over a season with it. Started to get seriously back into footy over the last couple of seasons but has still had injury problems.
