Amazed that Southern's younger ones are all being mentioned as moving on. Garrett, Barrett, Overall, Joraslafky, Irvine all would be in the 18 - 20 age group. All have been high acheivers and played state under age together. Would be staggered if Southern haven't got them stitched up.

Kensies used to have a good song

Drunk last night
Drunk the night before
Tonight we're gonna get drunk like we've never been drunk before
When we're drunk we're as happy as can be
Cos we are the boys of the KCC
etc

Bit more PC than the current one. Don't know why they changed it.

Yes, Fricky is moving to Port Lincoln this weekend to live/work.

Coaching structures are currently being reviewed and I would anticipate significant change in this area of the club - junior, senior and women's cricket will all be reviewed.

What do you think NDs stance will be on English cricketers for next year smac? You tend to have a fair few floating through out the grades. Do you see any use of that? I for one think its detrimental to the younger lads you have coming through? We have changed our policy on Poms and while the stats can look bad at times, the experience the kids gain will be beneficial in the long run. I guess its an issue which relates to all clubs.

Current philosophy is that any cricketer who is good enough to play for our club will get a game - regardless of where they come from. The number of our kids who head out that way each year and stay with or play cricket with guys who have come over to us is too high to consider changing that stance, IMO.

We had 16 junior aged players in our senior ranks this season, no opportunities lost there!

Smac if you speak to him and he is looking for a game of cricket over here in Port Lincoln PM me and i will grab his number and give him a call. We played in the Grand Final this year and are always looking for players so old buggers like myself can retire.

Yeah fair enough, we have had the opposite contribution from our poms. They are all quality/contracted players yet come here to sink piss and chase chicks. Josh Cobb the only one to perform while here yet he still did the before mentioned. Hence why our stance changed!

He'd had calls from three or four clubs already, when I spoke with him last night. I imagine they will have all been on to him by now.

Thanks for the heads up. If you have any pull with him get him out to Tod River. Not too much training plenty of drinking and need another Batsman to get us across the line .

Thats a massive loss for Notherns, going to tough to replace for the jets!
Speaking of huge losses, how much will Glenelg miss Neil Rowe, and from what i hear Edmondson not sticking around either!
