Port District easily in a romp really against a very ordinary Modbury. Big call early, but could be relegation bound after todays effort by the Hawks. Very ordinary, whilst Port District were excellent. Thought Modbury might be better than that but not in the same league.

Walkerville v PAOC (A couple of big outs to really hurt walkies this year. PAOC to start season strong and win by 6 goals)
Port District v Modbury (Modbury to really struggle, Districts by 9 goals)
Adelaide Uni v St Peters OC (a bit of a grudge match, but uni's by about 3 goals)

Nice win by districts. after we played them the week before i thought they may struggle. still have quality with sampson, gunning, higgs, clayton and buzz.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

As much as it was a good win by districts Modbury were absolutely horrible and would have lost to many teams in lower grades with that type of performance. A long year for them boys

Alot of talk about how good Pt Districts were against us on the weekend etc, however while we were admittedly well below par they were only 4 goals up with 10 minutes to play. We had a very young team out there (9 debutants) and the bigger bodies got them over the line in the end as well as our skill level. Gunning kicked 3 in the first 10 mins which set them up and then Jake took him out of the game.... However the other money man was good all day as was the ruckman who rucked single handedly all day was very good. Very tough place to go down and play at for us, we have historically coped some hidings down there.

We will welcome a few lads back this week and will be a much different side.

You blokes and write us off if you want ;)
