Watched this game on the box, one of the most enjoyable football games I've seen in a long time even though the result did not go as I hoped. Well done Westies. As someone else said so much better than the corporate Victorian poop that dominates the airwaves and print media. The SANFL has a great and reasonably priced product.

This match was a magnificent endorsement of SANFL football
WA played a superb brand of football, no coincidence they finally beat NA at Prospect in doing so

I recall a game between NA V WA at this venue I saw a few years ago
NA smmmmmashed WA
Daniel Motlop was playing party tricks that day
It was commented by a few how defaming to WA this was
How quickly the tide can turn

MOTLOP
On the radio they said Motlop played an average game, kicked 5 goals as a result of right place at the right time
Some people are hard to please
Not a mention on at least 2 goals he handed to team-mates
A brilliiant display
Motlop should be judged on his game, not the expectation from being an AFL star

Both sides are capable of playing finals footy

Spot on Mal. He set up 3 IIRC and isn't being in the right place at the right time partly down to skill in reading the game?
His double dummy in the 3rd qtr was sublime. Took two Westies out of the game and created space and time to find the right pass.

Dunno about a class above but he was sensational.
As was Gilly, it was prw Crows Gilly!
Typical Prospect, ran out of snags before half time and allot of booze by three quarter time.
Must have left the caterer at Hindmarsh Stadium.

Glad I got there for most of the game though, we were confused but excited to see North attacking long and direct.

Gill was against Ben Fisher which was a miss match of sizes. Not sure why that matchup was made. When the switch was made, I thought Gill dropped out of the game a bit.
