well you should ask him how many runs/wickets/catches he took in the 2010/2011 cricket grand final. O thats right he deserted the cleve cricket club to play for a team that nearly cheated there way into grand final!

Sorry for one last cricket talk but ive had a giggle! There are at least 4 bowlers quicker the Chris in Whyalla alone, and there is no-one super quick in Whyalla. In the described prelim final he only bowled about 5 or 6 overs without taking a wicket and went for a run a ball. Then came in to bat at number 9. Find it hard to believe he is the quickest on EP and a genuine allrounder. Understand if it was a joke! Onto the footy.

Very funny situation about this.
Apparently decided to play the prelim for North instead of GF for Cleve.
Told captain Ben Shannon he had to go to his mum's 50th, so couldn't play.
Someone from Cleve was in Whyalla, saw Beaty playing, but when contacted again by Shannon and asked why he was playing for North, Beaty told him he was only sub-fielding.
Lol.
Just wove a web of lies, which came unravelled pretty quickly.
I reckon he moved out of town that weekend.

Timbo played a few seasons IIRC.
It was around the time Boris was also playing, so the team had the three Ramsey boys and the two Humphries.
While we were talking speed, one of the most damaging bowlers I've ever seen was big wingnut Simon Noble.
He only bowled every now and then, because he had a penchant for breaking noses and hitting blokes in the head. Lol

John and Brett. Scott, I'm pretty sure, is their talented third brother, but I never saw him play.

Tribune had their preview last week and you called it Rama it was quality.

From what has been posted on here and with clearances I would say -:

Kimba
More of the same, Fitzgerald big inclusion but will miss Seal brothers and Harris. Interesting to see the next batch of young guns including Fraser Kessling.
Ports
Big Improvers with inclusion of several good young players from Lincoln. Tom Davey is about ready to step up if Ash Masters still playing they will be a lethal combination.
Cowell
Lost a few, gained a few but lack depth when the mining shifts go against them. Their best player Piggott now has the added pressure of being a playing coach.
Cleve
With Spud and Paul Jenner calling the shots will still be competitive but also lack depth. Merv, Nosta, Jacko, Pat and Dylan will ensure they still win their fair share.
Rudall
Unfortunately only getting a handful to training and seem to be resigned to merging. Greg Parkes will lead from the front, back line is strong but need some forwards to fire.
I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down.

Ports V Cowell @ Port Neill
Rudall V Cleve @ Rudall

I would offer a tip but dont think I'm allowed.

Me and Churchy off to Pt Neill.

I think Cowell B grade only just got a coach, they will struggle for numbers but they have about 10 colts who want to play Bs after under 16's, so that will hold them in good stead. Some of those kids will play A's as well.
