Quitting facebook

Had an account for about a month and that was enough. Haven't been on it for aeons.

Pseudo likes facebook though. PM him and ask his opinion

have done this a few times but gone back to FB after a short while. But having a few days break here and there which is helping me not to be on there all the time.

But yeah 6-7 years ago....what was everyone doing when FB and twitter was not here or as big as it is

Gone. Not missed.

Having my family living interstate or overseas I thought it would be a good way to keep in touch with them. The problem was that I don't really care about what they had for breakfast, or which of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles they would be. I also hated the way it was used to keep me informed of engagements, major health issues etc. Some things require a phone call.

Now, along with the old fashioned telephone, I just use skype or email to see how they're going.

I agree - a much better and safer way of keeping in touch. Skype is great, allows for the contact to be in voice for free, rather than just written text.

I forget to log in for a week or two on end and therefore absolutely nothing happens on my facebook page so it all stalls on me. It's like my facebook page has cobwebs on it.

When I do log in it's the same usual culprits telling me how they caught up with so and so and had THE BEST TIME THANK YOU SO MUCH xxx, etc, etc

I can't stand the application requests like Farmville! Mrs Hondo has a cousin I met once who always wants me to play Farmville

Mrs Hondo loves it. I would be more into it if more happened on my page but until I log in more not much will happen on my page so it's a circle of internet addiction I am not caught by yet.

Sometimes I stir Mrs Hondo and call it Brag-Book or See-I-have-a-really-exciting-life-Book or Who-has-the-wittiest-status-update-Book

All I do is the occasional post and commet on anothers status, not much more.
