Happy to sneak over the line with this one, mind you, I didn't have any "stars" on the bench so don't really have any additions to add to the side.
Bit more flexability in the line up now with my 10 suns all back into it, and only the 1 crow to miss this week, mind you, they are all rookies so I'm not sure if I want them on the field anyway! haha.

Me mate, shouldn't take you long to work out who I really am!

Yes Banker not long at all, he beat me in that other league I got you into this week as well.
Did you both play in the same team last weekend?

Am confident that I can pick up two extra points this year and consign Drop Bear to the spoon!
The Round 1 clash between TEAM_FISH and Bear Essentials is pretty evenly poised - I'm trailing by 223 points but have three players in hand.
Not a bad hit out first up mate.
Yep it was a ding dong battle but you deservedly took the points.

Divvy IV. The league skipper is going on hols for a couple of weeks. Once the dust settle in round 2 I'll need some scores from your league to update the Hogg Rankings Thread.

I need overall league ranking as well as each coaches' overall score. Otherwise Hogg Premier and Hogg I will leave you behind in the league rankings. ;)

Cossi's Carnts mate...

Just had a quick look at the teams and have made no trades but made some substitutions, hopefully it is enough to hold off the big FISH!!!

No trades, moved 4 GCS's onto the field and Otten off.

Spewing I went with Coad over Tape, that's gonna annoy me all year.

I've gone Coad as well mate. Don't worry too much, I'm sure Bluey will shuffle them around a bit.

Coad will definitely find his way into the team. There will be some sort of rotational system this year for GCS in order to keep the rookies fresh over the long season.

Killer Wombats! vs whufc
Trader vs BloodnTars
Bear Necessity vs Ankles United
TEAM_FISH vs Cossi's Carnts
Has Been vs Toomenny Beers
Honey Badgers vs WLF
Wonder Elephants vs THE BLOODS
Goonies vs Baron Greenbacks

This league looks set to be a tough one with all coaches over the 2000 bar 2.
We have the number scorer in Has Been and Honey Badgers was very unlucky to lose last week so looks like I will have my hands full this week.
The Goonies will need to lift their game against the Baron likewise Ankles who just scraped into the 2000 club and has some ground to cover to make up to the Bear (good work temporary skip)

Let's make this league number one guys so pick your captains and rookies carefully.

well happy with my start so far this round, 334 for three players. unfortunately Whufc has also had a good start, just over 500 for five played. looking at the rest of his team i reckon ill be looking at another loss :( time will tell though.
