Ben Green was clearly the best player on the ground. We may be under rating his loss to LS, coupled with the losses of White, Stoetzer, King, Dunn, Hill & North it's hard to see them making the 4 this year.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Given the tight season expected lets all do our 6 sides in order of the way they will finish at the end of minor round with the number of wins next to them.... we can look back later and see how we went.

for example this is mine

Tasmans 13
Peckers 11
Demons 10
Rangers 6
South 4
Tigers 1

*total must total 45.** note this order is end of minor round and not finals

From what I heard yesterday, the top of the ladder might look a bit like this:

Peckers 15
Daylight 0

They are doing it again............ :(

It was good for our young guys to taste what its going to be like at this level.
I reckon Hayden Perry might play a couple of Agrade games this year.

With these ladders giving season wins next to it, most have tigers 4th or 5th...

i know souths have lost players, but who have tigers really gained...

i love bfc, but i'm thinking winless a grade season again.

Posted a predicted ladder earlier in the piece.

daylight

then rangers and boston missing the four.

Four weeks to the day, and local footy is back! :D

All the piss and wind rumours, and declarations of swapping clubs are thinning out at the business end now...

Ky and Jayden will both be in the yellow and green this year, judging by what I heard yesterday.

Tasmans realistically the only club to challenge the Peckers, and I think Tasman will be bridesmaids once more...

Phillip Dudley leading goal kicker, Wes Bilney the Mail Medal. Those are my bets straight up.

Congratulations to the Manginas mens netball team last night
comprehensive winners of the Battle of Balls 26-25
in overtime.
A lot of laughs and a few chafed bits I think the girls
enjoyed the physical side a bit to much.
Warrick Capper an absolute star.

Geez in my day we had streakers at the footy, cricket and even at school !
On a different note are any other PLFL teams having practice matches ?
we had 34 at training last night even a few B graders so theres a few guys keen to have
a kick. Our new F/F probably won't play but will be keen to see how he goes in the real stuff.

So what was the 2 charities? Which one was worth while and which one wasn't?

I would like to know where my over-priced beer money is going and my over priced entry fee to watch a bunch of dud footballers play netball?

Media had it in one. The netball game was played to raise money for local netball so i have been reliably advised.

The Netball/Football was a fund raiser to help send Junior and senior teams to Carnivals, hire of buses
etc. that $8 also allowed you free entry into Sharkeys on Friday night.
