I reckon going out in straight sets, losing your last 3 games in a row after being undefeated and churping all year qualifies as choking.

Geez, I think you blokes are being a bit harsh on golden grove.
It's not their fault their best player couldn't play in either finals game...... the SAAFL doesn't allow team umpires in finals!

I don't know if it was a choke, but it's as close as you could get to one.

They lead both finals at 3/4 time too didn't they?

Ah well, i'm sure they'll be back bigger and better this year.

hahaha port boy a little sensative going out in straight sets mate, I just sit on the sidelines mate to be honest i have never played but i will still tell you how good i was if you like, never went our in straight sets for starters haha

Yeah pretty hard to play well when your on the sidelines with a hamstring injury all finals....

good win by the boys yesterday, i think alot of the guys were happy to blow a few cob webs off, but it probably wont mean anything in the long run cause we're chokers! :D

That is really all you have isnt it ? a2m move on, you won your flag, our d grade lost both finals games, big deal its done.

Great win yesterday, was good to play with the boys in the D's and to not be one of the oldest in the team ;) Looking forward to this season should be fun. Flinders will be tough to beat from all reports? anyone know much about them old/young side??

I notice Russell Hart couldn't get a game this week with SMOSH. Any news on this ?? Interested to know where the great man's career is headed...
