by how much do you think maccy have dropped off?
i would think most teams will be beating sedan quite comfortably bar callington.
obviously with torrens valley up dont think much will change with the top 4.
5th could come down again to nairne, meadows and maccy.

Not saying they're all A graders but the clearances out (including pending) don't paint a pretty picture - I wouldn't have thought Maccy's depth runs too deep so that they can cover the losses.

Curnow is 43 or 44 so would go close to the oldest player. You can pencil him in for the oldest A grader this year, he spent time over the pre season training at both Echunga and Meadows. Think you will find him lining up in the midfield for the dogs this year, he wants another crack at playing A grade and realises he wont get that as a midfielder at ehcunga.

Should make for a few exciting moments come the Echunga meadows darby

Strout and Jaensch are clearly legends but it is a bit of a concern that these will still be the core of Nairne's B Grade team...

Two promising juniors going to other clubs...fitness coach quitting...24 available last trial...What is going on down at Ram land?

Meadows by plenty[/quote]
I noticed this interesting clearance on the website - is he one of the promising juniors??

Massive loss for Nairne i would think. Has done pre season at sturt so would be cherry ripe to go. Probably in his third year of senior footie.

I confess I do not know a whole lot about the Country division, but I will predict Meadows for a top 3 finish. I know of a couple of recruits who have gone there, and they believe they are in for a belter of a year and are really hoping for a GF day and then who knows!

Meadows top 3!

Turn it up Lebron, That is a fair call! Meadows are on the rise, but to jump 3 or 4 spots in a year is a fair ask. Who out you epect them to beat? most posters seem fairly sure of Echunga Birdwood and the brooks being top three, who do you think would go out for them?

What happened to the HFL rule about no more than 3 players cleared from one HFL club to another in one year??? It looks as though there's been a heap from Maccy to Blackwood??? :? :?

I thought it was a Blackwood side but just playing in Maccy's spot? But that may explain it.

At is correct Gimp, Blackwood didn't quite have enough to fill a full side, and Maccy had a few players, that they still wanted to give them the chance to play football, so Blackwood and Maccy have a combined side this year.

Meadows just snuck over the line against Nairne by 2 goals, any other results from the other games?
