hahaha yeah the huts have long gone (thank christ...) and I'm sure you'll enjoy the new clubrooms and spacious changerooms. Will be better once the new oval takes seed and is erady for use next year hopefully...

Also does anyone know what Umpires will be doing our games hopefully not those Academy ones.

Will be a combination of a snr ump and an academy umpire from what I've been told. Much wiser option than pairing 2 academy guys up.

Well if thats the case it will be better.
Except i think the academy guys should be doing Div 1 Reserves. Still a good standard and they wouldn't get as whistle happy because the crowd wont be into it as much as A Grade games.

CBC over Pembroke - 10 goals - havent heard many great things on either side, CBC purely on last years performance
Poorake over Seaton - 6 goals - seaton seem to be in a whole lot of trouble
Mitcham over Flinders Park - 2 goals - could go either way... but the MFC boys have worked hard over preseason and should be ready to take on FP and their recruits!
SMOSH over Portland - 2 goals - could go either way... but beginning to hear more and more good things about SMOSH - should be a real force this year
Golden Grove over PH - 2 goals - PH play well at home, but are just missing too many key players
Interesting round 1... from most of the predicted ladders posted on here earlier, round 1 has the predicted top four playing each other, and the predicted bottom 6 playing each other... if we have any idea what we are talking about then there should be plenty of close results this week!

Can see them struggling personally but time will tell.
Looking 4wd to Mitcham recriuts playing going to be a big game and we have the capabilities to win

All four big recruits (Christie, O'hara, Winstanley and Visser) named for Flinders....wonder if any Park regulars missed out?
(providing the SAAFL website is correct).

Will still be handy at this level. Was a strong SHOC B grade last year and he should have an impact.
