Losing a GF can sometimes make a team stronger, so i would suspect to see those guys stay.

It's the end of the season now and time for players to chill out and catch up with some family time etc. As for administrators etc. it never really stops and forward planning begins immediately.
I got called enough on Sunday just by being there, some of it was in jest but at the end of the day there are a few blokes out there that I genuinely get along with and like having a beer with.
We were invited to go back to their after-party but declined as it was their night and we didn't want to interfere.
At the end of the day, the player in question is someone most clubs would like to have, we wont be pressuring him into coming across as we haven't for the journey so far.
The rumours snowball and end up being far bigger than the truth.
In saying that, it will be business as usual for us as we make plans to be a far more competitive unit next season, I wish everyone the best during the off-season and hopefully we can make this comp a bit better after the AGM.
Enjoy the break.

Was a good night LM... You could of featured in the over 35 race with bomber and myself

It’s around 90m Catchit and can you really claim beating me as a win. Tell ya what, party was going all good until SOMEONE sat on the table in my office and put the table through the wall. All in good fun finished at 4am Monday morning then to Mawson lakes for lunch and another Drinking session. I finished up at 6:30 but I do believe a few kicked on until 11:30. What made the day was a few good winners on the TAB. We had a syndicate going $10 bets. Had 2 winners paying $25.60 and $21.50 and a few small winners. We were about $600 up at one stage.
Maybe Browny might be able to confirm this but is it true that you guys finished up at 2am Monday morning and took it easy on Monday I hope this isn’t true.

the shared premiership was a joke , im glad the trophy reflects this , draw or tie the higher team on the ladder wins pretty simple really

Why? Neither side won and the game was played out. If it was rained out or heated out it's a different story, but things were sorted out on the field that neither team was better than the other on the day.

hence the higher team wins , a tie was good enough for autralia to go thru to final against south africa in 99 world cup because they earnt that right just like R&C did

A tie is not a win, so please stop saying as much.

Teams don't win any no result, draw or tie. But when you have a situation like a semi final you can't just have neither team or both teams go through. And if you don't have the option of replaying the game or some sort of tie break mechanism in place you've got to decide most fairly who should be the team to go through.

A grand final though you don't have the need for someone to go through, because there's nothing to go through to. If it's no result the team placed higher gets it as a reward for finishing higher I guess you can call it. But if there is a result then the result is what decides the premiers.

I thought it was a reasonably simple concept, but apparently not for some.
