Looks like the Clearances has been updated, few missing from Bridgey this year from the outs on the site.

After scrolling through the clearances I noticed an Aaron Kite has a clearance pending to Torrens Valley. This wouldn't be the Aaron Kite who was on the Crows list and has played with Norwood and switched to the Eagles this year, would it?

Hahndorf went down with the last kick of the game. No hamstring injury to Cooper

Will he be lining up this week?

Games this week: Forecast looks perfect

Onkaparinga Valley vs Hahndorf
Blackwood vs Ironbank
Mt Lofty vs Bridgewater
Mt Barker vs Lobethal
Uraidla Districts vs Torrens Valley

My tips:
Onkas by 3 goals
IB by 7 points. Always a nailbiting finish at Blackwood. Then off to the 25th anniversary gala to celebrate
Lofty by plenty...
Barker by plenty...
Uraidla by plenty...

hmm the fixture would have been awesome if it were Barker v Uraidla and TV v Lobey instead this weekend.

Drove past Bridgewater training on Tuesday night and did not see many players out and the ones that were there look to be very young.. Are they going to have enough players to cover both A's and B's? Toot toot or anyone else from Bridgewater, how have your numbers been otherwise?

Don't have anything to do with Bridgy these days but from the clearance page there has been 22 clearances out (not including Staniford & McLean, who are having a crack at South Adelaide) of which i believe as many as 17 of those played at least 1 A grade game last year. Then there is Eckermann (overseas) & Flinn (retired). Based on that seems they will be in for a long, long year.

Heard they had a trial game on Saturday against Hectoville (div 4 SAAFL) and apparently won the B grade game and only lost the A's by a few goals (with up to 10 players playing both games).

Bridgey should be starting to work on that 'Clash' jumper when they play Kangarilla and Kersbrook next year

Yeah, I wish them all the best…… It was also interesting to read, Gary Hughes criticism of the new points system in this week courier.....

Anyways my tips for the opening round are -

Onkaparinga Valley vs. Hahndorf - not too sure on this one, could go either way. But I’m going with Hahndorf, with there young bridge to get them over the line.

Blackwood vs. Ironbank - the local derby first up. I’m tipping Blackwood, for a comfortable win and to honour club legend Simon 'Axe-man' Heinsen in an emotional day.

Mt Lofty vs. Bridgewater - Mt. Lofty to given Bridgewater a football lesson, 10+ goal win

Mt Barker vs. Lobethal - Mt Barker, comfortably, no more needs to be said.

Uraidla Districts vs. Torrens Valley - Should be an interesting game, with Torrens Valley wanting to perform well in the Central comp. But I think Uraidla will have too much depth for Torrens and get a comfortable win.

Bloody hell, it's almost upon us! I'll chuck in my 2 cents for the ladder placings first:
Mt Barker
Uraidla
Blackwood
Mt Lofty
Onkas

Hahndorf
Ironbank
TV
Lobethal
Bridgewater

I've only just realised, I reckon that's how it finished after the minor rounds last year(?). The top 4 seem fairly unchanged with some handy ins, Onkas I'm not sure about but they seem to always be there. There's every chance the unpredictable Magpies could finish 6th...even up to 3rd. IB will be competitive on their deck and will beat some of the teams above them out there, leaving them not far off the pace but may struggle on the bigger decks. TV - who knows? Lobey should win more this year than the 2 or 3 they've won in the past 4 seasons combined. Bridgey - well, doesn't sound like they retained or recruited so it's gonna be hard.

Interesting, lebron. Do you know some things I don't? How would you think that Onkas would get over hahndorf by that much, Bridgey get that close to Lofty and you don't think that Lobey have picked up enough to get closer to your mob? Based on clearances and what's been said on here.
