Wouldn't be surprised if the Shopping Centre still has the gates unmanned at the hour the game starts.

Otherwise you'll be back on Frederick Rd somewhere....

Lake side of Frederick Rd in the backstreets means only a 5 minute (approx) walk to the ground .. Alternatively park at my place, grab a feed of Bacon and Eggs and we'll grab a roady for the 20 minute walk

Having said that I've just realised that Port Magpies haven't played at Footy Park for ages. Anyone know how many years?

6 years - the last time being a semi final against Central in 2005 - not sure if there is anyone in this years side from that game?

They did ask to train at AAMI during the week but were denied access.

They won the Ressies flag last year, might be a few of their young lads from that game playing on the weekend?

Watching Norwood in the trial game 10 days ago, their run and linkage out of defence is still very impressive and although it was a trial (and early days in the season) the efficiency of the ball use in this area was pretty good and got better as the game wore on (particularly in the last quarter) The biggest worry was ineffective forward entries, as the ball got turned over a number of times (lack of options?) entering the FWD 50m. Hopefully Bass has a few tricks up his sleeve for the forward structure this year.

Still think we will win this game, a close one though - 11 points.

I am not convinced on Harder, hasn't shown the required dedication to succeed at this level and doesnt get enough of the ball.
I dont agree with your bench either.....Who were the unluckyone's to miss your side SIT?

LMAO. Their home game. They want a curtain raiser. They get denied the opportunity to have a training session there. What a **** shambles this whole game has become, before the season has even started!

Leave the SANFL to SANFL supporters and dont experiment with you xxxing Power/Magpies interbred marriage with people who have no interest in the outcome of two doomned clubs.
I want to watch Norwood play at a time that is convenient to most SANFL supporters not at a time that is convenient to a bunch of wankers who never go to a Power game anyway and will not be there to watch their so called one club Port Adelaide.
The programming of this game will not attract one more Port Adelaide supporter to this game but when an additional 5000 or so Norwood people turn up ( even though all of them will leave after the game ) they will bleat and squeel how successful the excercise was !

Butcher needs some confidence & maybe thrown down back early may see him attack the ball with some real aggression & take some clean ball, then throw him fwd, Lokan's one that can play fwd & Thurgood plays better footy down back.

Why Walker and not the other 21 who played for the Crows lining up with their local clubs? Not allowed under the rules in any case.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.
