a mate of mine's sister dying this morning...

left behind two kids under 12, and no father that's worth mentioning...

Not fair on his family, and certainly not fair on the future of these two kids... :(

After trying to contact the mother of my child several times over the last few weeks, I realise that I haven't heard from her since the end of July last year (same time I saw my daughter last), and I've realised it's a hell of a lot easier for her to erase me from her life than it is for me to accept it.

Listening to all the dogs barking each morning at the Lonsale RSPCA and knowing my dogs are tucked in bed.

I feel sorry for all those dogs without a home.

Just found out that a girl I know who's brother passed away a fortnight ago, has now had her boyfriend die this morning in a workplace accident.

That is seriously ****** up.

Pretty average isn't BC. I still can't get my head around it. Imagine - burying your brother and then a week later your partner also dies. I'm not sure I'd even be able to function if that happened to me. Poor girl. :(
