Just a reminder that the Thursday Night League Teams Show will be back on the air waves this coming Thursday evening, the 31st of March on RPH.

Guests will be confirmed in the coming days but there will be a slight re-jig of the format with more of emphasis on the teams itself along with plenty of discussion about the games.

Tune in every Thursday night from 8pm until 9pm on 1197am 5RPH

As per last season, I will try and post the podcast download links on a weekly basis for those that can't catch the show live.

That is a better format . Out of interest what ever happened to the old ACE TV show ? Although in need of some polished ( all due respects) hosts the format of that show was quite good I thought.

Funding I'd suggest. I thought the hosts were pretty good, just think there were money issues, or lack thereof, in regards to it continuing on...

Can we get a replay of last years Prelim Final edition, as a curtain raiser to the Round 1 show? I reckon a few people would pay $2.50 to hear that again, LOL.

Our guests will be as follows, 1 each from the home side of each game being played:

Guests:

North - Clint Alleway

Glenelg - Ben Mules

Eagles - Mark Mackenzie

We will discuss in detail each of the games and go through the teams from each game prior to the corresponding interview, nice and slowly, not rushing through them at the end of the show.

That sounds excellent, BP.

Is the 'home game' interview system going to be a consistent feature? Happy if it is, but if so, could I suggest that the visiting team is discussed in a bit more detail than the home team when you go through the sides? That way, everyone is happy.

Best wishes for the season.

I was only able to listen for 10 minutes, but that happily coincided with the West v North game discussion and the interview with Clint Alleway.

Good radio, good discussion on the game, teams read out properly.

Well done :D

Of course nickname, the only problem being with this new format Grant and myself have, we have gone from 2 maybe 3 interviews in an hour time slot to 4 interviews now.

We will certainly make mention of Westies game and if time permits, we will read out their line up announced for the game.

Listen in tonight, we'll do our best to get the team read out for you. In regards to covering the West v Ainslie Foxtel game, make sure you tune into 5RPH tomorrow morning from 7am - 9am.

5RPH are doing an outside braodcast from the Central Markets to celebrate the switch to digital radio for community radio stations. For the first hour (from 7am - 8am) myself and Chris Kendall will be chatting all things SANFL and will have a couple of guests on the show.

At about 5 past, 10 past 7, we will be speaking with former Crow and current Ainslie player Robert Shirley ahead of their game against West. Then after 8am, we will be back to John Nankevill in the studio who will be hoping to speak with Bloods representative.

Tune in from 7am tomorrow morning as well as tonight from 8pm til 9pm on 1197am 5RPH for all your SANFL (and Foxtel Cup) info :D
